ADOPTION PENDING VIP Rescue www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Standard Poodle Age: 06/07/2020 Sex: Female spayed Weight: 40, should be 45. We are working on that. Requires: Fenced Yard 6 foot or higher. DOGS: She would like another dog to play with in her new home. Cats: she shows little interest. We would have to test. Kids: We have not had Penny around kids yet, however, she would likely be fine. She is not rambunctious and rarely jumps on people. IDEAL FAMIILY: Someone home most of the time, and can take her with them when they go out. Hello, my name is Penny and I'm a young female dog with lots of love to give! I'm incredibly attentive, love to make new friends, human and canine alike. I'm a curious gal, and I love to explore. I'm gentle and friendly, and I have good manners. I love to make everyone around me happy. If you're looking for a funny and independent companion, I'm the pup for you! I'm good with other dogs, and would enjoy a playmate at my new home. I love to Zoom around the yard and be chased! If you choose to welcome me into your home, I promise to fill it with love, laughter, and companionship every day. When you leave, I will sit by the door and await your return. Penny loves to play ‘chase me’ with her poodle foster brothers. She loves to ride in the car and is always ready to go, go, go wherever you go. Don’t try to open the door without taking her! Penny enjoys restaurant dining with you, visiting your friends with you, and simply she just wants to be with you always! She is great riding in your car. She would love sleeping in your bed with you too! Penny would be happiest with a family who is home most of the time and can take her with them when they leave. As with most Standard Poodles, Penny is very attached to her people. Penny needs additional basic obedience training and guidance on her leash walking should you choose to adopt Penny. Please include training$$$ in your budget if you are so inclined to adopt Penny. Penny is very food motivated which makes your training easy.. Penny is both crate trained and house trained. Penny requires frequent brushing and grooming. Grooming prices have skyrocketed, so please make sure that monthly grooming is in your budget. Penny is a little thin and we are working on that. She is recently spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, had a dental, and is current on preventatives. She has no known medical issues. Penny comes to us from a situation the owner was no longer able to keep her through no fault of her own. Penny is being fostered in Osteen Florida. To meet Penny, you will need to travel to Osteen to meet her. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, live in a single family home, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, and be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. Please submit an Adoption Application if you would like more info on Penny. https://viprescue.org/application-to-adopt Website www.viprescue.org

Meet BUBBA / Port Orange, FL ADOPT BUBBA / Port Orange, FL VIP Rescue: www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Standard Poodle DOB: 01/10/2013 Sex: Male Weight: 60lbs Requires: Fenced Yard 5 foot or higher. DOGS: Likes the company of older calmer standard poodles preferably female. Cats: Not good with cats Kids: Older calm kids IDEAL FAMIILY: Bubba is an 11 year old 60 lb Senior Standard Poodle. He is a happy boy, he is calm, cool, and collected. Bubba is a great houseguest. He does not ask for much, a soft bed, good food, a walk, rub his ears and belly, a couch to lounge on, and would love to patrol your yard. He is already trained, and will make someone an amazing companion. What more could you ask for? Bubba is looking for a calm family where someone is home most of the time. He loves people and loves to be in their company but he is not needy. He has been used to several other standard poodles in his pack, but would do well also as an only dog with a doting human. He prefers female dogs. Bubba Info: Even though Bubba is a senior he still l loves to patrol the yard, and play a quick short distance ball game. He doesn't always care to bring the ball back though, ha ha! He is house and crate trained, and has very good house manners. He does not need to be crated. He is great on car rides. Bubba is affectionate, a friendly boy, very gentle, and curious about things. He will alert you and bark when someone comes to the door. He's good being groomed, but being a senior, short sessions are encouraged. Bubba requires frequent brushing and grooming. Grooming prices have skyrocketed, so please make sure that monthly grooming is in your budget. Bubba is recently neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, had a dental, and is current on preventatives. He has no known medical issues and his bloodwork was perfect. Bubba comes to us from a former breeder who was no longer able to keep him due to health issues. Through no fault of his own Bubba came to VIP Rescue. Bubba is being fostered in Port Orange Florida. To meet Bubba, you will need to travel to Port Orange to meet him. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, live in a single family home, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, and be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Story
Sweet Lilah This beautiful girl joined us after being part of a group of dumped doodles, which we have rescued time and time again. Lilah had two identical sisters dumped with her and they were both dna tested and came back as 50% Giant Schnauzer and 50% Standard Poodle. Because of this, Lilah does not shed at all. Lilah lives for other dogs. She is needs rough and rowdy playmates who will wrestle with her and the more the merrier. She is the most comfortable in settings like doggy daycare or at our adoption events where there is a group of dogs. She is shy with most new people, but if you have a dog, she gets comfortable quickly. She is great with all size dogs from tiny to XL and doesn't have a mean bone in her body towards people or dogs. She has a very submissive demeanor. We actually think she would like to be more social and go places with her new family, she just needs a doggy best friend that she can lean on. Firm requirements for Lilah: Another playful dog (the more the merrier!) 6' fenced yard No kids Lilah is very gentle on a leash, house-trained, crate-trained and rides great in the car. She has not been cat tested, but would most likely be gentle with a cat as she does not seem to have any prey drive. She is nervous of people and a bit of a flight risk, so she may take more than one meet & greet before going home with someone. Lilah is about 2 years old, 50lbs, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $350 and she's in Tampa. www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process

Story
Meet Finn! Finn is an adorable, lanky 16 month old Standard Poodle mix. He is likely a Goldendoodle, but with a very high poodle content. He's more Poodle than anything! This playful boy LOVES his canine friends and needs dogs he can wrestle and run with and a fenced yard would be ideal. He loves long walks with lots of sniff time and snuggles on the couch. Finn is still very puppy-like and has a tendency to eat non-food items. He is safest in a home that is very clean and decluttered and with a very attentive person or family. Because of this, we are seeking a home without kids, so that socks and objects aren't left out for him to eat He is a wonderful boy who is super loving and would be happy to go anywhere with you or your pups He is about 40lbs, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is also house trained and crate trained. He is in Tampa and his adoption fee is $400. www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process

Story
Charlie is an almost 3 YO 3/4 Std Poodle; 1/4 Golden Retriever, and he is an interesting chocolate color. This boy is very good but still definitely has some puppy in him! He enjoys a lot of exercise, and while he knows several commands, can still be quite jumpy, therefore, we would not recommend that he go to a home with small / young kids. Charlie knows sit, paw, and down. His ideal home would have someone home more than not or another dog. He was said to have separation anxiety, but has not seemed to be overly anxious being by himself so far. Charlie is up to date, microchipped, and neutered, and ready to find his forever home! He is being fostered in Sarasota and his adoption fee is $450. If you would like to meet him, please complete an adoption application at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process. If you have applied for one of our dogs in the past, please send an email to Info@Love4PawsFL.org and put Charlie in the subject line to express your interest.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Remember Bellamy? Well she is ready to begin the search for her forever home.  Bellamy came in malnourished and unsocialized from living in a crate in an apartment. We’ve learned Bellamy is a smart, energetic, and loving dog. We've also learned through a DNA test, Bellamy is a true Poodle, not a golden retriever mix. But that being said grooming will be a very important part of her lifestyle. Her poodle hair will need to be groomed every 3 to 4 weeks, and brushing daily is a must!!   She has come a long way from who she was when she first came into rescue. Thanks to foster Kristy she has learned how to be a beloved pet! When Bellamy first came in, she showed very minor signs of food aggression. We think this was due to her being very malnourished. Since then, she has been crated when it is time to eat and there has been no issues at all. It is important to note that Bellamy will most likely be on Royal Canaan GI food for the rest of her life. Without the specific type of food, her stool get soft and diarrhea like.    Bellamy walks great on a gentle leader leash and walks several miles a day with her foster! Bellamy is also learning sit and lay down with other basic commands. She is proving to be a very smart girl! She is also fully housebroken!   Bellamy is crate trained for sleeping and does very well with that. She loves to play fetch and tug of war. She plays great dogs and is very dog friendly. Being a poodle, she is very vocal while playing, but she is not too rough. As much as she loves playing, she is also content just being a lap dog on the sofa.    Bellamy will need a fully fenced backyard for space to run and play. She can be placed with older considerate children and other playful dogs.  #bellamy #poodle #poodlesofinstagram #poodlemix #poodlelove #poodlepuppy #poodlelife #poodlegram #poodlelover #poodlepuppies  #4luckydogs #4luckydogspetrescue #4luckydogspetrescueinc #4luckydogsrescueVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 7:08 pm
