She enjoys her walks and is well-behaved on a leash. Aspen needs a home where she can get plenty of attention and reassurance to build her confidence. Due to her separation anxiety, she is best suited for a household where she won’t be left alone for long periods. Because she is a Poodle, she will need to be groomed. The foster family took her to the groomers as you can see in her before and after pictures. Aspen is a sweet and affectionate girl who is ready to find her forever home! I’ve had her since she was four months old, but due to changing family dynamics, longer work hours, and being diagnosed with raynauds syndrome I can no longer give her the time and care she deserves. She is some type of poodle mix, though Im not exactly sure what her specific mix is. She would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play. She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations but has not been spayed yet (you may want to confirm if she’s old enough for the procedure). Sandy is a loving and sweet companion, and I want to ensure she finds a home where she will get the love and attention she needs. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
