Story
Hi! I’m Jasper. I am a little over a year old. I am a lovable standard poodle full of energy and joy, with a heart as big as my stride. I love to run with the grace of a horse, enjoying the freedom of open space, yet when playtime winds down, I am the first to curl up for a cozy cuddle with my family. Affectionate and loyal, I will thrive in a home where I can receive love and attention. Now, I am looking for a new family to adopt me. I offer endless companionship in return for a place to call home by 04/20/2025.

Story
Meet Dante! 🐾 Dante is a handsome 1.5-year-old Poodle weighing in at 54 pounds of pure love and energy. This sweet boy was found as a stray in the Houston area and brought to Camo Rescue by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. Now, Dante is ready to find his forever home! Dante is not only intelligent but also very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He’s working hard on mastering his potty and leash training and is making fantastic progress! With a consistent schedule and a bit of patience, he’ll have these skills perfected in no time. Dante is also learning commands like “sit” and “lay down,” showing off his eagerness to please and incredible potential. With his puppy energy and larger size, Dante would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He’s dog-friendly and would enjoy having canine siblings to play with, but he’s equally happy as the only pup soaking up all the attention. Due to his enthusiasm and energy, Dante would do best in a home without small children. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and affectionate companion, Dante is your guy! 🐶❤️ Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Captain Crunch, an adult dog with an energy that`s infectious and a curiosity that`s endearing. He weighs 11 pounds and is always on the go, exploring every nook and cranny with his nose. His enthusiasm for life is inspiring and he`s always up for a run, his tail wagging with excitement. Leash walking to him is leash running. He might know something about house training but please be patient if he needs more guidance. But Captain Crunch isn`t just energetic, he`s also incredibly cuddly and friendly. He loves to snuggle up after a day full of adventures while you pet his soft coat until he decides he`s had enough and doesn`t want to be touched. Because of his unpredictable behavior, he`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old. His confidence shines through in his happy, alert demeanor. His sweet, gentle nature will melt your heart. He can be a bit noisy, his barks full of joy and excitement. He`s the perfect companion for someone who loves the great outdoors and the comfort of a warm, cuddly friend at the end of the day. Adopt Captain Crunch and bring home not just a pet, but a bundle of joy and endless adventures. (tw 4/20/2025)

Story
Meet Lewis, a senior dog with a heart full of youthful energy. Despite his age, Lewis is a bundle of joy, always ready to play and explore. He weighs 14 pounds and enjoys car rides, running, toys, and chase. His intelligence shines through in his curiosity and quick learning. He knows the come, no, and down commands. He`s friendly and cuddly, seeking affection with a shy charm that`s impossible to resist. Lewis is also quite excitable, greeting every day with an easygoing attitude and boundless enthusiasm. As a protective companion, he`ll make you feel safe and loved. Lewis is amiable with other dogs but might be possessive of his food so you`ll need to bring your dog to meet him. Otherwise, he is easygoing, friendly, and playful with other small dogs. He has a special fondness for children, making him a perfect addition to any family as he is friendly, playful and jumpy with them. He might need some guidance with house training and leash walking but he`s not to old to learn. Lewis has a penchant for digging and he might beg for a treat or two, but his endearing eyes make it hard to resist. This lovable senior may be heading towards his golden years, but his spirit is as vibrant as a puppy`s. He`s a testament to the saying, `Age is just a number`. He was only given up because his family moved. Adopt Lewis and let his playful energy, loving nature, and protective instincts bring joy and warmth into your home. (tw 4/3/2025)Are you a senior too? CAP offers free adoptions to adopters over 60 if the animal is over seven years old!

Story
Meet Covie, an adult dog bursting with energy and charm. His playful spirit is infectious, filling any room with joy and laughter. Yet, Covie is more than just a ball of fun. He`s also incredibly friendly, always eager to make new friends, both human and canine. He`s a hit at the dog park and is friendly and playful with teenagers. He`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old because he can be a little picky about how he is handled. He`s leash trained but never quite mastered house training. He knows the sit and off commands. His favorite activities are car rides, fetch, running, and toys. Covie is a cuddle bug too, always ready for a good snuggle session. Despite his outgoing nature, Covie can be a bit shy, especially around strangers. But once he warms up, his easygoing nature shines through. Covie is a 16-pound burglar alarm, a great watchdog, always protective of his loved ones. His alertness, combined with his wariness of strangers, makes him an excellent guardian. He was only given because his humans no longer wanted a dog. Adopt Covie and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a devoted protector. (tw 4/19/2025)
