Bettie is an adorable mini poodle around 12 pounds and 8 years old. Bettie has come to Colorado to find her forever family. She was rescued from a kill shelter in south Texas and evacuated before the hurricane floods. She is mostly blind due to cataracts but otherwise Bettie is a practically perfect senior gal. Bettie is house trained, crate trained, food motivated and she walks well on a leash once she knows her way around. She understandably takes a little time to get comfortable doing all of these things in a new environment, but she gets more affectionate and more confident the longer she settles in. Think of Bettie as your sweet aunt who loves to eat, can't see much and has selective hearing (don't we all!) but overall she just wants to spend her days with family and sitting in the sun. Bettie is looking for a patient home willing to give her time and extra care while she settles in and learns her way around. Her ideal home will be secure with few stairs and no kids or older kids. Bettie is very smart and quiet. She loves wandering around a yard, standing in the sun and sleeping in her cozy blankets.

Bear will make a wonderful addition to any family! He is a 3 yr old Anatolian Shepherd/Poodle mix that loves belly rubs and walks, and is great with children. He doesn’t always realize his size of 85 pounds as he tries to snuggle with you. Bear was given up for adoption as he needs plenty of space to run and play, and is best suited as a single dog in your home. He is fully potty trained, as well as leash trained, and has even attended dog training sessions at his previous home. He is up to date on all vaccinations as well. He is a bit shy at first, but warms up as soon as he knows you are there to love on him. Bear is a gentle soul that will steal your heart when you bring him home! Are you that family?
