Hello there, I'm Winston, an 8-year-old, 48-pound schnauzer mix, and let me tell you, I've got quite the story to tell. I found myself at the shelter after a sad turn of events - my previous owner passed away, and it left me feeling a bit lost. Understandably, I'm still adjusting to this big change, and it might take me a little time to warm up to new people. But once I do, oh boy, you'll see a whole new dog! I'm a ball-chasing aficionado and quite the pro on walks. But I do have a sensitive spot around my ears. Those pesky ear infections have left me a bit touchy in that area, so I might need some extra patience and understanding as I learn to trust again. You see, I've been through a lot, and being in the shelter adds to my stress. But I know there's someone out there who's willing to give me the love and stability I need. Someone who's patient yet consistent, ready to help me overcome my past traumas and become the best version of myself. So, if you're up for the challenge of earning my trust and giving me the forever home I deserve, let's give it a shot.
