Story
We rescued the mom not knowing she was pregnant. She had 7 healthy puppies and we have 3 female puppies remaining. We do not know what the fathers breed is but we believe Molly (the mother, pic above) is a standard schnauzer. The picture is of all 3 but the brown one is hard to see. She is in the top left.
We'll also keep you updated on Monte (NOT YET AVAILABLE - STRAY)'s adoption status with email updates.

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying.  Thank you for your cooperation. STRAY - NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 1/3/2025:  Monte - male - approx 1 year old - 9.10 pounds - Schnauzer mix Reason for intake:  Monte was found on January 2nd, 2025, on Old Benton Road in Bossier City, by a nice lady.  She contacted us for help and we took him in the following day.  We had already posted him on social media and now we are posting him again since he's officially with us.  No one stepped forward from our original post.  We did notify Bossier City Animal Control that we have him and they've registered him in their system.  If an owner comes forward, they will need to reclaim him through BCAC and pay the reclamation fees.  His stray will be up at 4pm on January 8.  He will head to our vet on January 9th for neutering and everything else he needs.  Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.416768288349589&type=3 OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”  ~ Gandhi Be responsible ~  Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life.  Blessings. ADOPTION RETURN  NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 1/4/2025:  Bodiddly - male - Approx DOB 5/2/2016 - 29.12 pounds - Schnauzer mix Reason for intake:  Very sad situation.  Bodiddly came to us in September 2016 as a puppy from Bossier City Animal Control.  He was adopted out to a sweet couple that month where he lived a great life.  Sadly, his human mom passed away three years ago and then his human dad passed away in November of 2024.  Their daughter took sweet Bodiddly in but they have a young child and Bodiddly just is not used to young children.  They tried in vain to make it work but realized that Bodiddly was not happy so they reached out to us to see if we could take him back. Of course, we said "yes".  He's an older BIGGER guy now and been through a lot but we will find him a new place to land.  We're waiting on some records before we can post him for adoption. Blessings.
