Story
Ophelia is a 7-month-old, experienced barn cat who’s ready to take on any rodent problem you have! She came in with her sister and littermate, Omarosa, and together they make an efficient, no-nonsense mouse patrol team. If you need a pair of independent workers to keep your barn pest-free, these girls are up for the task!Ophelia is a bit more social than her sister, though she’s still on the cautious and skittish side. She prefers to observe from a distance and will do best in a working home where she has the space to roam and the freedom to be herself. While she’s not a lap cat, she’ll gladly repay your care with her excellent mousing skills! She would love to stay with Omarosa, but she can also be placed on her own. She’ll need a safe, warm shelter, regular meals, and the opportunity to thrive as the skilled hunter she was born to be.If you’re looking for a self-sufficient, hardworking barn cat, Ophelia is ready to get to work for you! You can also call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me.****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

Story
Omarosa is a 7-month-old, experienced barn cat who knows her way around a farm and is ready to put her skills to work! She came in with her sister and littermate, Ophelia, and together they make a top-notch rodent control team. If you’re looking for a pair of hardworking barn cats to keep the mice at bay, these girls are up for the job.Omarosa is a bit on the skittish side and prefers to do her own thing rather than seek out human attention. She thrives best in an outdoor environment where she has space to roam and a safe place to retreat when needed. Because of her nervous nature, she may bite when scared, so she’s best suited for a working home where she can be respected for the independent spirit that she is.She and Ophelia would love to stay together, but she can also be placed on her own. All she asks for is a warm, dry shelter, regular meals, and the freedom to do what she does best—keep your barn rodent-free!If you’re in need of a low-maintenance, hardworking barn cat, Omarosa is ready to start her new job today! You can also call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me.****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
