Story
Theo is a very sweet cat, he keeps to himself and does not bother anyone. He is very shy and gets scared easily. Once he is comfortable with you he will come on your lap and wants to be pet. I am not sure about his breed. We adopted him from a family member as a kitten.

Story
We have an adorable orange tabby, appropriately named “Tangie.” We adopted him from a young woman who was moving out of town, and he joined our family 7 months ago, joining the older, firmly established cats in our household. Unfortunately, our older cats have never felt comfortable around Tangie, and vice versa, and there have been plenty of cat fights over the month. Also, Tangie is clearly an indoor/outdoor cat, and cries to be let outside. We do so occasionally, but we live on a canyon with coyotes, so we are very careful not to have Tangie in a situation where he could get loose. We believe Tangie will be happiest as a solitary cat in a household that can accommodate an indoor/outdoor cat. It is also possible he might be just fine with other cats who are more accepting of a new housemate then our older cats have been. We love Tangie and want to find him a great, loving home! Thank you, Ron & Galina

Story
Hi! My name is Benji. I was born in November of 2018. My mom found me behind a dumpster and bottle fed me to health! Almost 6 years later, I have learned that I LOVE basking in the sun and sitting on top of laps. I hope to find a loving family that could offer me as many cuddles as my mom has been able to over these past years. Unfortunately, she is unable to financially provide me with all of the support she wants to give me. I hope to find a home that can offer me tons of sun, toys, fresh water, yummy treats, and lots of love! I love backyard outdoor time and/or sleeping on balconies! It is my favorite thing of all time! I am kind, cuddly, playful, vocal, sleepy, & realistically involve myself in a lot of orange cat activities! I have been to the vet for an emergency 2 times and each time were related to me peeing blood from anxiety/stress. Storms, fireworks, and being alone for too long scares me. I do hope I can have a companion with me and hopefully gain a brother/sister.

Story
I rescued Chai about 2 months ago from the local Humane Society. Unbeknownst to me - I have allergies to cats! It has been a challenge and I finally realized one of us had to find a new home. Chai is a sweet girl who is 100% litter box trained, actually uses her scratching post and loves to play! She can be shy at first but warms up quickly. Full transparency - Chai loves attention but will sometimes snip at your hand if you don't rub her head just right, although I've never been bit. It breaks my heart to have to do this - I really love Chai, but I need to find her a new home!

Story
Rowdy is an older cat and can be very sweet. Hehas been a companion to a human with health problems. His person is currently in end-of-life hospice care, and Rowdy needs a new home. Rowdy is about 12, possible older, and is very mellow. lived with many other cats until 2018 and was usually the most friendly and curious. Currently, he is quite reserved because he is sharing space with a younger and much more aggressive cat after several years of being the only pet.

Story
Hi, my name is PRECIOUS. I am a small kitty, about 7 lbs , but I am fully grown. I am a gray tabby cat. I need a new home where I am the one and only pet in the house. My brothers pick on me and that makes me very afraid of almost everything. I have anxiety issues which causes me to pee outside of the litter box sometimes. This problem should go away once I am settled in a new home. Please adopt me and show me a lot of love.

Story
These boys, Dusky and Sox, are brothers. They want to stay together! Please help them. The boys were my husband, Bruce’s, constant companions in their home in Vallejo. But their father and I fell in love and decided to move in together. The problem is I live in San Diego and he lived in Vallejo. We decided to blend our families because I have a small dog. The cats get along just fine with Biscuit. The problem, Rose, when something very unfortunate happened. My husband, the kitties daddy, passed away rather suddenly on June 18. I honestly think that they would be happier in a home where they were very wanted and we’re not an afterthought. A place where they can live without a dog. Since he passed the boys have been very unhappy and have been acting out in ways that I just cannot control. After losing my husband, I am not well. I am sure the boys would like a new home.

Story
I originally took them in because a family member got evicted and couldn’t keep them so they gave them to another home and the kitties were so scared of the other animals in that home so that family gave them back to my family member and then my family member brought them to my house. I decided to let them stay in my room a while as we try to find a forever home for these sweet babies! I’d keep them but the issue is my roommate is allergic to cats so they are forced to stay in my room and they deserve so much more! They are friendly with people and love to cuddle/sleep with me/people! One is “Slim” and the other is “thickums”!

Story
posting this on behalf of my brother who lives in Vista. This sweet kitty (we think he is around 1 years old) came onto my brother's lot a few months ago. He put out flyers and no one claimed him. He is VERY sweet, good with dogs, etc and is looking for a home. We believe he is fixed and not sure about shots or anything as my brother hasn't taken him to the vet. We are looking for a good home for him. My brother is at max capacity with animals and he doesn't want to take him to a shelter. Please text is you're seriously interested. **not sure of breed
