Ducky is an adorable 3-month-old orange tabby who came to us as a stray with his equally charming brother, Goose. With his striking orange coat and sweet personality, Ducky is sure to steal your heart! This little snuggler is always the first to greet you, eagerly seeking out love and attention. In addition to being incredibly affectionate, Ducky loves to play and explore his surroundings. He’s great with other cats, dogs, and kids, making him an excellent fit for any family. He MUST go to a home with another kitty or his brother. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, Ducky will always be by your side, ready to bring joy to your home. His adoption fee is $250 and Ducky is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and will be neutered in February when of age so you must return to our vet in Bethel, CT for that appointment. Story
Looking for a loving home for a very calm and kind cat. Winter is 3years old and loves to cuddle with you when you are sitting in a couch or just laying in bed. She is very adaptable to change even when changing litter box locations. She is not picky with food and loves her scratching toys. Have not had problems with nail trimming or grooming. She will get attached and know when you are sad. She is a great emotional support cat. She is not very energetic like a kitten would be but she loves belly rubs and likes to groom you to say thank you. She really is a beautiful kind cat would love for her to find a caring home.

Story
We would like you to meet "Rusty". Rusty is an orange tabby with a cute white chest. He is 2 years old. Rusty came to us and he was very very sad. Poor guy. Rusty's story is that he was adopted when he was a kitten and has been with his owner since then. His owner, an elderly woman, is moving out of state and cannot bring Rusty with her. Rusty's first 2 days in the foster home were not happy days for him at all and, of course, we understand that. The morning after the 3rd night, Rusty came out of the crate and said "hello" to us! It was like a little miracle! What a great cat he is! You know the saying "what a difference a day makes"! We are looking for and waiting for the perfect home for Rusty and we know that whatever home Rusty goes to, Rusty's new owners will be very happy to have him in their home and have him as their companion. Rusty is an indoor cat and we will make sure that he is kept as one. In Rusty's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Rusty is neutered, his shots are up to date and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Rusty is $235.00. No credit cards. You can meet any of our animals at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury on Saturday during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00 so, if you are interested in meeting Rusty or a particular animal, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com and we will be certain to bring that particular animal with us to Petco on Saturday. Rusty sure hopes that you want to come to see him! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!
