Story
MEDICAL FOSTER NEEDED FOR SWEET OLD GUY OR FOREVER HOME Higgins (aka Professor Higgins) is a 10 year old short-haired tabby neutered male. He was brought in for euthanasia but the owners allowed transfer to rescue. Higgins is diabetic. He requires 1 pill once a day and he is such a good boy for his medicine. He is also currently on a special diabetic dry food but this is not mandatory. He seems fine around other cats and likes to go up to the other cages to meet the other cats. . He weighs about 11 lbs but was once much heavier. Higgins needs a medical foster home or adoption. His medication costs about $100/month but will be provided for him while in foster care. Please give this sweet old man some more good quality time. He deserves it! Please call Robin Dinning at 352-339-3352 if you would like to foster or adopt Higgins. Phone calls only, please, no texts. Story
Really need a good new home for him; offering $200 to adopter Ashur is a true gentlecat. He loves to sunbathe and nap most of the day and has a fun playful side too when toys are brought out. He has never bitten or scratched anyone or even hissed at anyone. He has been handled and is used to being picked up. He is usually a little shy around unfamiliar company but can be coaxed out with treats. His favorite food is gravy lovers fancy feast. He doesn’t jump on kitchen counter tops. At night he likes to sleep near by, and he likes to protect the house from invading pests like lizards and or the stray palmetto bug.

Story
Laverne is a shy, sweet girl who was declawed by a previous owner, (I would never do that to a cat!) so will never damage your furniture. She is never aggressive, hides from visitors but will sit on your lap and visit if it's her idea, and is good company! My husband and I are a senior couple and we've had her for 3 years and love her very much, but are sadly moving to a very small apartment that won't accommodate her. She would probably be happiest in a calm, quiet home. She's an indoor cat but did enjoy our enclosed yard in a previous home. She also enjoys being out on an apartment balcony. Her previous owner passed away, and we've had her for 3 years. As you can see from her photo, she's a beautiful girl who loves to be brushed and has extraordinarily soft fur. Might you have room in your heart for our girl?

Story
Bella has lived with my grandmother since she was a kitten, but she's now at a point in her life where she can no longer take care of herself, let alone an animal. We're currently moving her into an assisted living facility that does not allow pets. Bella is considered a senior cat (12 years old) and therefore in need of someone that moves a bit slower like herself. She enjoys affection and taking long naps. She's not on any medication and has no known allergies.
