Story
Hi! I’m Tinga. I was adopted from IACS in February. 6 months later my previous owner tried to return me due to landlord fees. The shelter is already overcapacity and requires appointments. I was about to be dumped outside when one of the workers decided to take me home and try to re home me themselves. At first I was at my house, and then I was put in a box, taken back to the scary shelter, and then taken to a random place that I’ve never been before! I was so confused! I hid under the bed for a whole day. I never showed any signs of aggression I was just scared being in this unfamiliar place. But once I came out I let her know how sweet I was and how much I love pets. Now I cuddle and lay on the bed instead of under. She already has two cats and a dog in a one bedroom apartment with low funds. If her situation was different she would love to have me. I am around a year and a half and have lived with another cat in my previous home. I am playful and so nice :)

Story
we think jody was dumped. we found him 7/28/23 in our yard close to our house. we were told he was approx 12 wks old. he's around a year old now but still looks like a kid. we have four other cats, two other dumped cats and two adopted from a shelter. they are all older than jody and have never bonded with him. we don't get to spend enough quality time with him but he loves to play and eat and sleep. he might do well with a medium sized dog. he would probably do well with other young, male cats because he really just likes to wrestle. unsure about how he would do with children but he might be ok if the children are old enough to understand what cats are like. we feel there are many other homes where he could thrive and be the best jody he can be. the most important thing for him is access to windows with something to sit and lay on while he's looking out of them.

Story
Nala is the sweetest old lady. She loves to cuddle and nuzzle her head into you. She was adopted in 2019 from an animal shelter in Lexington, KY. They were not positive of her age at the time, but guessed around 11 years old, meaning she is probably 16 or so now. She was declawed in the front prior to my adopting her. She would thrive best in a home where she is the only pet. She gets along fine with dogs, but it causes some behavioral issues, i.e, peeing around the litter box. Currently she has two litter boxes (cleaned daily) in our basement and will poop in them always but only pees in them about 60% of the time. This started AFTER we adopted a dog. Prior to that, she was using the litter box 100% of the time. All health concerns were ruled out, we tried pheromone plug ins and calming collars, but nothing helps. We now have a baby and dog and just know she would be happier in a home getting all the attention she deserves.

Story
Kitty came into our back yard. We have a large partially wooded property near a creek with many animals around. There are other cats around too. He let us pet him. The next time he came up, he followed me into the house. He seemed like he would be the perfect pet. He's very loving and cuddly. Then I found I was allergic. He's now spending the night in the garage and free to come and go as he pleases, which he does a lot. We feed him in the garage. He has never gone to the bathroom in the house or garage, always outside. But since I put a kitty litter in the garage, he uses it. Since he could always come and go as he pleases, we thought he would return to his original home. We though perhaps we had found his original owner recently but it was not. He has been here for the summer up to now. We are getting ready to travel and cannot just leave him here. He's a beautiful silver tabby. He 'talks' to me when he wants something or if he wants to show me something.

Titan is full of love! And she’s very vocal about it. She loves to lay down on you and will throw a fit if you stop petting her. She’s a playful girl and has a wonderful personality. I want to find her a home where she can get lots of love and attention.
