Story
Sage is just over a year old, is energetic and playful and good with children, and would benefit from a home where he can spend more (but not all) of his time outside. Sage loves to be outside, and the litter he was born into spent their early days living outdoors. He joined our family as a kitten. Unfortunately, we cannot offer the type of outdoor freedom that Sage needs. We have neighbors all around us, including some who have pets and/or don’t care for a cat roaming freely through their yard. Sage often whines to be let outside. When inside, we also find it difficult to give him the attention he needs as we have two small children than consume our time and energy. When cooped up inside and left to entertain himself, Sage resorts to playing with (and arguably annoying) his Calico sister, or gets into trouble around the house (like scratching things when he’s got pent up energy). He’s in need of a good home with more outdoor access, and someone to love on him and play with inside!

Story
I adopted Gandalf in 2016 (at about 9 weeks old). Gandalf is very needy and pretty talkative. He sometimes acts like he's too cool for school, but it's all bark and no bite. He is very bonded to my other cat Dahlia (also adopted in 2016), so splitting them isn't negotiable. It would break both of their hearts and this whole thing is already sad enough. I have a 3rd cat, Lulu, that I would like if she could stay with them because Gandalf is fond of her, but she never quite bonded fully. I love my cats dearly but both my partner and I have worsening health issues (we're both immunocompromised and immunosuppressed) that make it so we can't keep up with their care in a way that is good for them and keeps us safe. The fee covers an automatic litter box, cat houses, toys, cat trees, and any leftover food + litter I have.

Story
Patience tippy taps her little white toes when you pet her; it is the cutest thing on the planet! She is a tad shy at first, but is also sweet, loving, and wants to be with people who love her. She is such a doll. And Patience has quite a story to tell. During her spay surgery at a high-volume city shelter, someone suspected that Patience had pneumonia, so she was slated for euthanasia. An x-ray was taken, which showed no pneumonia but reportedly showed a *severely* enlarged heart. Her surgery was completed and she was posted as "rescue only," which meant if a rescue group didn't quickly pull her, she would be euthanized. The Pet Connection knows that even big-hearted kitties can live happy lives with medical support, so we pulled out all the stops and saved Patience with not even a moment to spare. What a relief to know she was safe! Then we got Patience's medical records, including her x-ray, and had three different veterinarians take a look. None of them could see an enlarged heart, pneumonia, or ANYTHING wrong with this sweet, sweet baby girl! Now this special girl (with her regular-sized heart and but tippy tappy toes!) needs an extra special home. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Patience. She's in Beloit, KS, but transport is available to the right home.

Story
Nosey is a 5-year-old, female spayed grey tabby. Her dad passed away a few months ago and sweet Nosey needs a new home. She loves getting lots of attention and love, as her dad was retired and doted on her for her entire life. Her sister, Monkey, is also available. Monkey is 13 years old. She's a spayed calico mix and she has been front declawed. She is also very sweet and affectionate. They can be adopted into separate homes; however, Nosey does not like any other cats but Monkey, so Nosey will need to be in a single-cat household if these two are separated. Please call/text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you're interested in making Nosey and/or Monkey part of your family. They are in the KC metro but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
I adopted her when she was a young cat at 9 months old. Her birthday is sometime in June/July but I don’t know her actual date. She’s a very playful cat, loves to cuddle and come lay to watch tv with you and just be in your presence!! When she’s not with you she often likes to sit from her cat tree or on the couch to watch out the window as people and cats pass by. She's litter box trained. Main reason I am searching for a new home is I simply don’t have the time to give her the consistent attention she needs daily. Play time, engagement, she unfortunately cannot sleep in the room with me which has been as frustration for her as she longs to be by her persons side! I love this cat so very dearly, but I know she deserves a home that can give her the attention she deserves. She’s social, and will adapt to living with other cats and dogs! We currently live with my roommates Labrador and we used to have another older cat. If you’re a cat lover I promise you she’ll love you equally.

Story
I found goose in my backyard when he was maybe 4 weeks old. He has been with me since, he is about 4 years old his bday is in April. He is a BIG cat is what I get told all the time, he is super friendly and LOVES attention from everyone, he loves cuddling and getting pets and he TALKS a lot. I have to rehome him because I cannot bring him with me where I am moving unfortunately. Hoping he can go to a family. He does well with any human and he does well with other animals given time to know them. He grew up with dogs and cats.
