Story
Jelly Bean and Pinto Bean are the dynamic duo of adorable, talkative, and playful brown tabby brothers! These two handsome guys are a bonded pair, and though they might be unsure of new situations, they warm up quickly and become the friendliest, most loving companions once they get to know you. Pinto Bean, the alpha of the two, has a playful, curious nature and is always the first to approach new people. He’s a little character with a big personality, and he’s not shy about showing off his intelligence and charm. Pinto’s quirks include a love for drinking water straight from the tap, rather than a bowl – he knows what he likes! Jelly Bean, on the other hand, is a bit more reserved at first but just as sweet once he feels comfortable. He enjoys being around Pinto and follows his lead, often joining in on their playful antics. Despite his more laid-back nature, Jelly is just as smart and chatty as his brother. Both boys are incredibly well-trained and love to have their wet food served with extra gravy. They adore each other and will happily entertain you with their adorable cat-tastic antics, so having them together means twice the fun! They are sure to bring warmth and joy to any home, especially to a family that can provide them with a little patience and a lot of love. The Bean Brothers were born in 2021 so they are adult boys about 4 years old. Pinto and Jelly are looking for a forever home where they can continue to be the sweet, playful, and talkative companions they’ve always been. Could that be with you? All of our cats are in foster homes. To meet this duo, please submit an application today. https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Jacob McCandless wants to be your new Best Friend! Howdy partner! My name’s Jacob McCandless, but you can call me “Big Jake.” I’ve been around for a while—living behind some houses with my fellow feline friends. People in the neighborhood think I am around 5 years old. A kind lady has been feeding me, and I recently discovered that if I hop in her car, she’ll take me to her house! And let me tell you, it’s warm in there… plus, there are beds, toys, and all kinds of comfy spots to nap. Life has been pretty good, but what I’m really looking for now is a family of my own. I’m super easygoing and love other cats, and I’m great with kids too! Seriously, I’ve never met a person I didn’t like, and the vet? No problem—I'm a trooper when it comes to checkups. I’ve had all my vet work done, so I’m all set and ready to go. Jacob has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you're looking for a loyal, friendly, and affectionate companion, look no further! I promise I’ll be the best furry friend you could ask for. Please apply today, and let’s make some memories together. I can't wait to be part of your family! P.S. – I’m always up for a good snuggle and a scratch behind the ears! Apply today. All of our cats are in foster homes. https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application.

Story
Bagheera named after the Disney character is a regal and quiet soul with a heart full of potential. This handsome boy may be a little shy at first, but once he’s comfortable, he’ll shower you with love and loyalty like only a true king can. Bagheera thrives in calm environments and would do best in a peaceful home where he can take his time to settle in and build trust with his human companion. His gentle nature is matched only by his soft, constant purr, which he shares while nudging you with affectionate head bumps. Though only six years old, Bagheera carries the wisdom of an old soul, and with a bit of patience, he’ll reward you with a deep bond. If you're looking for a quiet, loving companion who appreciates the quieter moments in life, Bagheera might just be the regal feline friend you've been waiting for.

Story
Milo is a lovable, handsome, young guy who has been through a lot of changes in his short life. He was born in November of 2020. Now he is looking for someone who will love him and give him the forever home he needs to show just how much love he has to share. When Milo was only 2 years old, his brother and best cat friend passed away. After that, he tried his best to make the family dog his replacement friend but it just wasn't the same. Not long after that, a human family member became ill and Milo was taken to a shelter. All the noises at the shelter scared Milo but fortunately, he was only there for a day or two before he lucked out with a very kind, patient foster mom taking him home. When Milo arrived in his foster home, he was scared and has had to learn to trust again. Fortunately, his foster mom knew Milo had lots of love to give so with her patience and expert guidance from a cat behaviorist, Milo discovered the view from the top of the dresser was much better than the "obstructed view" beneath the dresser and pets from a human are really nice. Milo enjoys his foster mom's dog - when it isn't too crazy - so would probably be happiest in a home where he has a calm cat and/or dog buddy. He also needs a quiet home because loud, unexpected noises send him back to the "obstructed view." Older children in the home would be fine too if they are willing to let Milo come to them on his own terms. Milo also loves to talk so he will gladly tell you all about his day.
