Leni was living on the streets with a homeless person who gave her away not knowing that person would later take Leni to a vet to be euthanized. Instead, Leni was rescued and now healing from that trauma as evidenced by her soulful eyes and inquisitive expressions. In foster care, Leni is learning she is safe, enjoying wet food meals, lounging in cat trees and looking out the window. She loves soft blankets where she'll curl up for a nap. Pippy is an indoor/enclosed outdoor cat that loves to sun herself outside on patios and in backyards and curl up in bed to watch TV with you. She has lived with, and is friendly with, cats, dogs and kiddos. She has a very sweet prrrrrr when given attention. Sometimes she even makes sound effects when jumping onto and off of things - it’s adorable. She is not a picky eater and is not declawed. She also responds well to children although she has never been around infants. I have had her since she was a kitten and want to ensure she goes to a cat loving home. I have never rehomed an animal before and am only doing so bc of a household situation that became unsafe. I moved out of state with clothes and my pets and my current landlord will not tolerate cats - no exceptions due to allergies.
