Story
Checkers was rescued from a colony. He is affectionate but still sensitive in new situations and with new people so he will need some time to adjust to a new home. He is a big mush of a cat who loves being petted and loves belly rubs. He is very food motivated so gaining his trust should be easy. He is attached to his friend Toby so we'd like them adopted together.

Story
Willie got a rough start at life, when his mother came down with mastitis. It initially made him sick and then left him with some challenges in using his back legs. They tend to stretch out but not pull back. So he will need some physical therapy. It does not stop him from faithfully using the litter box. He gets around well and is not in pain. He is very playful much to his mother's dismay. He is very sweet and absolutely loves to be held and purrs immediately as soon as he is held. He is deserving of a wonderful home. You won’t be disappointed in this little boy. Please include your phone number when inquiring about him. strayheartsrescue@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9

Story
My name is Eugene. I have two American Shorthair Cats. They are brother and sister named Sid and Nancy. They are approximately 9 years old. I adopted the cats when they were 2. They are both spayed/neutered and up to date with their shots and vaccinations. I love them dearly but have developed severe allergies and am no longer able to keep them. I try my best to vacuum and clean constantly but am still suffering from allergic reactions. My allergies have grown increasingly severe over the past year and after much thought and trying different medicines, have come to the painful conclusion that it would be best for the cats to give them to a home that could cuddle them and love them the way they deserve. Sid and Nancy are both wonderful cats. Sid is a boy and is curious, playful, cuddly, and sweet. Nancy is a bit more cautious at first but loves pets and every now and then likes to sit on laps. We have a one year old son and both cats have been great with him.

These pups are in Port Jervis, New York too!

Story
Peta's tale is one of heartache. She was living happily until her owner unexpectedly passed away. Left with nowhere to go, she came to our shelter, scared and alone. Over time, Peta came out of her shell and found a new family where she started to flourish. At just two years old, she had a full life ahead of her. Yet, fate dealt another blow when her new owner passed away, and their home caught fire. Peta was found hiding inside the house two days after the incident. She was returned to us, covered in soot, once again in search of a forever home. She is once again coming out of her shell, Her journey has been filled with sadness, but she is deserving of a joyful conclusion. We invite you to consider giving Peta the loving home she so desperately needs.
