Story
FIP SURVIVOR ALERT! We know many people are familiar with Pringle's journey, but here is a recap if you are new here. Pringle's life has been riddled with bad luck, but he is a fighter! He lost his mom and siblings at 3 weeks of age due to an unknown illness/disease. At 5 weeks, he suffered a dog bite to his face (which was stitched up and healed well) when he escaped his quarantine room to look for a playmate. Then at 8 weeks his Feline Leukemia test showed faintly positive which resulted in a longer quarantine and more tests. At 4 months old, he was neutered and tested negative for FeLV. We were hopeful he could finally socialize with other cats and find a forever home. In the days following surgery, Pringle began rapidly declining and we were preparing for the worst. Tests ruled out several possibilities and he was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). We can happily report that he is officially declared FIP CURED following his one year blood work result after treatment. With so much bad in his life, there can only be good from here! Pringle is an adorable 1 year old boy. He is curious of the world around him and is often the first to explore a new object or room. Pringle loves to play with any dangly string--be it a shoelace or hoodie string! Even more enticing to him are moving feet and hands under a blanket. Pringle often prefers the companionship of humans over felines and does not have the best catiquette because he was isolated for so long due to his illnesses. He loves getting pets on his head and can be such a snuggle bug. Pringle has the tiniest meow when he greets his foster dad at the end of a long work day. Pringle gets a lot of kisses because we just can't resist his big, round eyes. He is also our favorite meme cat. We often create comparisons of his pictures because he is so photogenic and silly! Although Pringle is the most adorable and loving cat, Pringle has developed some cattitude because he was a single kitten for a very long time. He gets overstimulated easily by rowdy cats and people and can get mouthy when pushed to his limit. For this reason, we think the perfect home is a calm household with adults only who are cat savvy and understand his body language. Pringle is neutered, negative for FIV and FeLV, and updated on all his vaccines. If you think that you've got the perfect home for this wonderful boy, please email Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com for an application today!

Not good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Blind kitten, appears to be 6 months to a year old, definitely not full grown. Pretty able bodied and has no issues with stairs, climbing, or the litter box. Will occasionally bump into things and you have to be careful when putting him down (let his feet touch first), but very independent. Very active and playful. Willing to cuddle but is losing this desire over time as he is not exposed to as much love as we'd like to give him. Pretty normal cat. Our cats and he have not gotten along well so far in limited interactions so we're keeping him isolated. But he enjoys petting and is no problem to hold or put on your lap, he just doesn't stay there too long. He got along fine with a previous owner's very calm dog. He has not met other dogs or kids or any cats but ours, but seems like he would be great with any humans that understand him. He is negative for any communicable feline diseases, vet is unsure why he is blind but he seems healthy otherwise. Currently rembunctious and a bit messy

Story
I have two wonderful fur balls I sadly have to part ways with. It's really a horrible thing when we must choose and have to let go our little friends that become a part of ones identity. But this is where we are. Raspy the oldest 5 is welcoming and soft spoken. She has a gentle shyness about her. She is nurturing to her little step sister Squeaker. Raspy may be a little timid around larger dogs. She is friendly however, aggressive dogs she's not familiar with will cause her to shy away and hide. Squeaker on the other hand has no familiarity with dogs so they would be a real curious spectacle because she is one the curious felines I've had. She wasted no time out of the carrier and on her missions of explorations and adventures. She is verbal and has answered back and / or has her own requests. A truly unique kitten. She's smart. Really smart. Trainable smart. Her adjustment would a easier transition than Raspy's because she and I are bonded on a deeper level and will have to adjust

Story
Frank, now 6 years old, was originally from 4th and Washington in Philadelphia and was a street cat his first year of his life. He was neutered by the city before he was adopted over his first winter and was an indoor cat for the first few years. He is a friendly, cuddly, house broken, social cat, good with dogs. We had made him an indoor cat for a few months but preferred always being outside. He was happy for a while in Berks county but now prefers being an indoor cat. My family is no longer in a position to have an indoor cat due to our kids' allergies and we are looking to rehome Frank. He is litter box trained.

Story
Luna is a wonderful, 3 year old cat. She is super active, playful and has amazing skills like jumping from the floor to the top of a door frame in one big jump! I have had her for 3 years and she was originally with three other cats. In the past year, she was only with one other cat and they have started to not get along! Brody, my male cat who I have had for many years, bullies her and she is consistently having to run away and hide. I feel as though it is unfair to her and I don’t want her in that situation anymore but I cannot get rid of Brody because of having him for so long. Luna is great with people BUT it does take a lot of time for her to warm up to people and her owners. She keeps to herself a lot and loves to nap when she is not playing! Luna is a little cat and is just the cutest!
