A Velcro kitty who is your shadow. Personality Harvey doesn't think there is anyone in the world who isn’t his best friend. He is so outgoing, super smart and wants to communicate. He can get frustrated if you don't understand what he wants. He would be a good candidate to be trained to use the talking buttons you see on social media. He often prefers attention from people over food. He is independent and bold, brave and affectionate. Harvey was big and muscular when he came to GNAR, but after being neutered, has slimmed down. He was very successful as an outdoor cat. Resourceful and generous with helping other cats, and sweet talking people not-so-subtly to bend to his will. He is a kitty politician. If you are a dog person, this is the cat for you. You could probably teach him tricks. He is attentive and wants you to please him : D Background Harvey and Necia were found as strays together. Outgoing Harvey showed up first outside of an industrial building where the employees started to gain his trust and feed him. Uber-friendly Harvey accepted their invitations for friendship after a short while, and soon started inviting himself inside the front door, so they decided it was probably time to look for a new home for him. After he then also brought his new girlfriend Necia to join him, everyone started worrying that there would be kittens if they didn’t do something to prevent it soon. Harvey was very protective of Necia, so they didn’t get chance to get close enough to her to see if she was also tame. Once the 2 cats started getting too bold and trying to come indoors to the office, the employee contacted GNAR to help find a home for them. So they borrowed traps, and brought them to their new foster home. Harvey continued to guard Necia, so the foster home separated them to let Necia show her true personality. Harvey also sweetened up more after he was relieved of his perceived responsibility as Necia's protector and provider. Description Umami is a cuddly, outgoing, affectionate, very handsome kitten. Personality Umami was confident and an extrovert the day he was found. Even though he had never been held by a human before when found at 8 weeks old, he had no problem with it. He was a bit scared for the 1st few days but as soon as you picked him up he melted into a puddle of purrs. He loves to explore and has no fear. He is very curious and is oblivious that some other animals may want to eat him. He will burst out of a doorway, run right up to a large new dog, slipping through the bars of a babygate to join the pack. Umami is talented at jumping up onto a counter to get closer to you. He is a daredevil, talker and enthusiastic eater. Patience is not his forte and he will make sure you know it. Background Umami was found in front of a house all alone after a big storm in southwest Houston on Mon May 13. His momma never came back for him. His finder brought him to a foster home who had 3 bottle baby kittens of about the same age and added him to the litter of orphans. He was just old enough to already be able to lap kitten formula for himself and eat solid food. I'm hopeful that I can make your happiness! I am very healthy, active and well, actually I'm a little shy but outgoing once I know you, I'm a quiet, gentle presence, without all the kitten drama, you know what I mean. Make me a cozy cubby and I'll be in heaven! I like perches, lying in the sun, playing with feather wand toys, and, oh yes, Lickable Treats! Oh, and don't forget the laser! I purr when you pet me! I'm probably good with other cats and older kids after a proper introduction. I had a BFF but she got adopted already. My owner had to move to another country and I've been waiting a long time for a forever home. I need a family that would enjoy gaining my trust and seeing me blossom. It won't take much! Princess Leia is a biscuit making machine! She loves to hang out with her favorite people and doggo friends. Leia is sweet and affectionate, but don't let those looks fool you. She will judge you harshly if she can see the bottom of her food bowl.

Once she warms up to you, she will follow you around demanding lovin's. Pull out some of those queezable cat treats from HEB, and she'll love you forever! This silly girl will do anything for those!

This is a friend of the Family Cat. A tree fell on they're home during Hurricane Beryl, and they are having to relocate. They are not able to have any pets while living with other family members. I can not keep him due to having my own 2 cats, and we are moving next week to a place that only allows 2 pets at the most. He is 1 year old, neutered, litterbox trained, he loves to cuddle, and plays fetch. He is good with other cats, not sure about dogs. Hasn't bitten or scratched anyone. I can give you a litterbox, and his cat tree, and his favorite toys.

Vinny is an 1 year old male cat (6/23/2023) that has been with us since he was 2.5 weeks old. He was found in a car engine and has a part of his ear that was burnt (most don’t even notice). He is sweet and a little spicy. He loves to play and sleep. He gets along well with dogs large and small. He comes when I call his name and follows me around like a dog. Vinny would benefit from another cat to help him learn some cat manners since he has grown up with dogs.

Luna is a rescue, we found her in bad shape. But after a lot of TLC, shes doing great now! She is very timid and extremely shy at first. As soon as she warms up to people, she'll become the most cuddle driven pet you'll have! She loves a calm setting, and does well with other cats. She's not a fan of dogs. She sticks to herself a lot and will let it be known when she wants attention. She loves to sleep with you at night, so be prepared for bedtime cuddles. She has some anxiety, but we believe it's due to her time before we rescued her. She is a loving cat with a quirky personality. Please help us find her a new loving home. We believe she will thrive in a single pet home, or a home with other cats.

This is Bruce, hes about 2 years old. Ive had him since he was 6 weeks and got him from a family friend. Hes the sweetest boy, loves attention and plays with toys. Unfortunately Im in the process of moving so I wont be able to take care of him when I leave. He just needs a home with lots of love.

Lily and Lola are the sweetest cats, they are both very social and love to cuddle. They are litter sister and I would hate to separate them. I have developed very bad allergies and I can no longer keep them. I would love a loving home for these girls, they are wonderful pets. The best companions I’ve ever had.
