Story
Nala is a sweet, sweet girl. She is a bit shy and takes a while to warm up but does love affection, However, when she's done with the love, she will go to her bed and rest most of the day. She will come to eat and use the bathroom, but won't bother with the humans much more than that. She just needs minimal attention, though she does like it but on her terms. She is not great with other pets, but will stay out of their way if they live in the same space.

Story
Everyone probably says this, but Marmalade is genuinely the most friendly/chill cat I've ever had. She warms up to people quick, loves affection/attention, doesn't take long to warm up to stranger (30 mins at most), and is pretty vocal when she's asking for attention. I've had her since she was about 8-9 weeks old, she's about 2 years old now. Other than a respiratory infection from the shelter, she's been in perfect health while I've had her. I've also had NO issues with her going outside the litter box or scratching furniture. SPECIAL NOTES: She doesn't seem to understand how to cover her poop. Its in the litter, but she doesn't know how to scoop the litter on top of it and just rubs at the edge of the litter box. Then she gets confused about why it's still smelly. She warmed up to my other cat within a month, but initially, she hissed at him when he tried to wrestle with her. But now, she kicks his butt all the time and I've never heard her hiss at any person (other than the vet).

Story
Looking for a Loving Home for Lucas & Mateo 🐾 Meet Lucas (darker hair) and Mateo (lighter hair), two sweet bonded brothers born on April 30, 2024, and adopted from Richmond Animal League (RAL) in July 2024. They were rescued as kittens and have been lovingly cared for since. These chill, affectionate boys are litter-trained, dewormed, and up-to-date on all vaccines, including rabies (next due August 2025). Treated at Cary Street Veterinary, they’ve shown no aggression and are happiest cuddling, napping, or simply being with you. They’ve been indoor cats their whole lives and thrive in a calm, loving environment. Sadly, we are moving overseas and cannot take them with us. We are searching for a forever home where they can stay together, as their bond is truly special. If you’re looking for two gentle companions who will bring love and joy into your life, Lucas and Mateo are perfect for you. Please reach out if interested—these boys deserve the best home! ❤️

Story
Little Chin, is a lovely very sweet 10 year old female kitty that is requiring a forever home. She was born and raised by a family member that has since sold her home and is living in an apartment that doesn't allow any pets. Due to the family's work schedule, and traveling needs, Little chin will soon require a new family to love. She is very shy and has. always been an indoor companion only. She gets along with other cats, as well as dogs as long as they don't chase her or exhibit aggression. She is very respectful of her surrounding area and is potty trained. One of Little Chins unique traits is when she is excited to see you she will shake her tail or hind leg in a little dance for you.

Story
09/19/24 - It's better to text me for contact than call if you have any questions. This little fella here is very timid and scared, but after awhile she'll warm up to you! She's very independent but seems to love her daughter, Gremlin, quite a lot. She doesn't handle other animals well at all, but she's fine with people, so long as you don't try to smother her with love by picking her up. We found her outside and took her in until we could find her a home to discover she was a little pregnant thing. We're mainly looking for a nice family who needs a fairly easy to care for cat. People who will give her a nice little peaceful life. We would request that you'd adopt Gremlin with her as well, just so she has a small sense of familiarity with one of her children with her.

Story
09/19/24 - Text is better for any questions - This little ball of love is a little over a year and a half old! She is incredibly independent and looking for something to play with, while she doesn't mind being petted or rubbed, she'll come to you when she's looking for love. So far she's only been able to play with her siblings, and boy does she play with them constantly. We need a good, fun, and loving family who will play with her and shower her in love. While she hasn't outright hissed or acted aggressive at some of the other cats we have, we can't say for certain how she'll react to dogs as she's never even seen one. She's grown to be both independent but always wanting to play with a toy or you. Despite being fairly independent, she is almost constantly around her mother, Tanooki, and I'm sure she learned some of her habits from her too. We'd like to request that you'd adopt Tanooki alongside with Gremlin as they seem to calm each other down if one is freaking out.
