Story
08/10/24 - This little fella here is very timid and scared, but after awhile she'll warm up to you! She's very independent but seems to love her daughter, Gremlin, quite a lot. She doesn't handle other animals well at all, but she's fine with people, so long as you don't try to smother her with love by picking her up. We found her outside and took her in until we could find her a home to discover she was a little pregnant thing. We're mainly looking for a nice family who needs a fairly easy to care for cat. People who will give her a nice little peaceful life. We would request that you'd adopt Gremlin with her as well, just so she has a small sense of familiarity with one of her children with her.

Story
08/10/24 - This little ball of love is a little over a year and a half old! She is incredibly independent and looking for something to play with, while she doesn't mind being petted or rubbed, she'll come to you when she's looking for love. So far she's only been able to play with her siblings, and boy does she play with them constantly. We need a good, fun, and loving family who will play with her and shower her in love. While she hasn't outright hissed or acted aggressive at some of the other cats we have, we can't say for certain how she'll react to dogs as she's never even seen one. She's grown to be both independent but always wanting to play with a toy or you. Despite being fairly independent, she is almost constantly around her mother, Tanooki, and I'm sure she learned some of her habits from her too. We'd like to request that you'd adopt Tanooki alongside with Gremlin as they seem to calm each other down if one is freaking out.

Story
We got Linny when she was a stray about two years ago we found her on the side of the road , lost and scared and have had her ever since. Linny is used to being the star of the show , definitely princess material. She would prefer to go to a home without any other animals , but if not she mostly does okay with other animals she is just very shy.

Story
Beaker is approximately 3 years old and lived his first two years as an indoor/outdoor cat. His owner threw him out in the fall of 2023 to bring in a large dog that was aggressive toward Beaker. Beaker was no longer allowed inside his owner's home and was no longer being fed. Since then a neighbor and I have fed Beaker and provide heated shelter on our front porches. My neighbor, as Beaker's primary caretaker, allowed him in her house but he often preferred to be outdoors. I let him in my house and he ignores my dog and looks for place to nap. Beaker formally lived with two small dogs and one cat, a littermate and he got along with all of them. I have no knowledge of how he gets along with children but would imagine he would do fine as he is a gentle cat. Beaker is a sweet boy, trying to find a home. He needs to be an indoor/outdoor cat because that's what he knows and prefers. He's laid back and loves lounging on the front porch but also enjoys being inside for a quiet nap.

Story
Kimchi is more on the playful side than on the cuddly side, he takes awhile to warm up to new things but he is a sweet cat with lots of orange cat vibes/ shenanigans. He is a great cat but I am moving and the place I am moving to does not accept pets. He loves cat trees and laser toys. I hope he finds a great home and a family who will love him!

Story
Jojo was living in a culvert. I trapped(TNR) her to be spayed and found out her front paws were DECLAWED. Could and would not put her back out there. Shes had her rabies and distemper shots and tested negative for Feline leukimia. My 2 cats are not adjusting especially the older one, she refuses to use the litter box now and shes 25 lbs. Jojo is a lap cat, picture of her was on my lap. Shes only 2 yrs old and maybe she wants to play but my cats wont have it. Im going to surrender her to Rockingham SPCA on 9/2, only because its a no kill shelter. But Id rather her go straight to a loving home. She will hide if there are little kids around but big kids should be fine.
