Story
It is with a heavy heart we have made the decision to re-home our Australian Shepherd Willie. Born on the Fourth of July 2016 Willie was adopted when he was ten weeks old. Willie is comfortable in different environments and is extremely loyal. Excitedly, my wife and I are expecting twins and are unsure of Willie’s ability to adapt to babies in the house. In staying true to his shepherd nature, Willie is extremely loyal to the people close to him. He is always attentive to his owner’s actions and moods. Willie is not professionally trained; however, he does listen well. He will sit, stay and return when called, and will not leave your side long enough to run away. Willie’s loyalty and eagerness to protect contributed to our decision to rehome him. He is protective of my wife and our home and has reacted negatively to unfamiliar men and children. Willie always warms up to adults he has not met before but can become stressed with a lot of people coming and going.
