Story
Hello, I`m Turbo! I`m a young energetic girl looking for an active and patient home. Training classes are recommended and will really help me adjust! I have not lived with other dogs and am pushy when meeting new furiends so will need slow and proper intros. Due to my energy and tendency to be mouthy, a mature home is recommended. I chase cats, so am looking for a feline free home. I will need help with positive based crate and potty training. I may do best in a home with a big backyard that I can run around in!

Story
***Staff thinks I will be ready by mid-March. My foster family says CUTE PUPPY ALERT! Meet Ruby a confident, sassy, but so smart for her own size. This playful puppy is estimated to be around 7 weeks and loves nothing more than to explore her environment, push her brother around and pile up when she’s sleepy. She is doing great with basic commands with her brother, but she definitely knows how to pin her brother down. Ruby would love a family who is willing to allow her to grow and thrive. She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving companion to add joy to your life, don’t forget her beautiful colors and marking, Ruby might be the perfect pup for you!***I am not currently at the shelter because I`m growing big and strong in a foster home! You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. We want to be healthy for our new life together!Available for choice hold, please see web memo or foster for questions.

Story
I'm a lovely senior Mini Aussie / mix with one blue eye. I will come to your home with my best buddy Jerry! We are Ben & Jerry! We need to stay together. I love humans and really enjoy scratches. I am crate trained, know some basic commands, and love to go on walks. I am potty trained, but did have a few accidents when I first came to my foster home, most likely to the change in diet and stress of a new living situation. I am a bit overweight, but my foster is working hard to rectify that much to my disappointment, because I like cookies a lot. I like going for walks and getting scratched and of course getting cookies. I'm not quite as confident as my brother Jerry, but if he's getting attention, I definitely want a piece of the action too. I am fine with other dogs but can be a bit reserved, choosing instead to hang with my brother or other quiet members of my foster-pack. I have been living with several cats and don't pay attention to them at all. I'm not sure if I like kids, but as long a they are respectful, I'm pretty sure I would. I don't play much with toys, but I love to chew on cow hooves. My Adoption Fee includes a training program specific for my needs.
