Missy is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix, and is so soft inside and out. Her silky fur and golden eyes are both striking features of this gorgeous girl! She came in to the shelter with her sister MacKenzie, and they currently live in the same pen. They get along very well, and can be adopted together or separately. Missy is a little shyer than her sister, but warms up to new people after a short while. Soft treats and pets are good ways to her heart. Missy is also a little unsure about the leash when it is first being put on her, but she walks very well once she is on the leash. After just a couple walks together, she is already learning that the leash is a wonderful thing! It’s clear that Missy is a smart girl, and would love to learn more in her new home. Could that be with you? Be sure to meet this sweet girl and find out!  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.August 20, 2024, 2:14 am
