Story
Hey there! I’m Bandit, some people in One Love may refer to me as “Apollo Creed” as that was my original name when I was first with this nice group about 4 years ago! I was adopted as a puppy but unfortunately those humans didn’t understand how big I was going to really get so I ended up back in my foster home in August. I am a Great Pyrenees mix so I’m a big (about 85 lbs!) and strong boy! I have a few dog friends at my foster home, but sometimes I have to go in a time out bc I get some overly excited and forget I can hurt smaller pups! I don’t mean too I just want to play! I can be nervous around people so I prefer quieter environment’s and to have my own space. I’m not really a fan of young kids and prefer to be with the adults! I really would love a lot of land to wander or someone who is super active. I live on some property now and I follow my foster dad around and help him do yard work and I love it! My ancestors were considered working dogs and I like to follow in their footsteps! I also can be very vocal, it’s also a trait of my breed. My breed is pretty special so I would love it if you read up on all of my nreeds funny quirks to make sure I’m the right pup for you! I do need reassurance at times and am afraid you aren’t going to come back, but after some time I will trust you. At my foster home I have my own room I stay in and play with my toys while my foster parents are at work all day. I’m not too sure about a crate unless it was really really big! I ride in a car well and am always up for an adventure! I really love it at my foster home but I am ready for my new family!! Oh and don’t worry I am 100% housetrained! I hope to meet some of you soon!!Submit applications online at: https://oneloveanimalrescue.com/pre-adoption-application
