Meet Kadie, a lovable Aussie mix born in October 2019, looking for her forever family! Kadie is a sweet, smart and energetic girl with a strong herding instinct. While she’s made incredible progress with her current family, she’s had a challenging start in life and is now ready for a fresh start with a patient and loving family.
Kadie would thrive with an active family who understands the needs of a herding breed, ideally with one that could provide a structured routine. She is eager to learn and would benefit from some basic training and continued guidance to build her confidence and trust. This sweet girl is food motivated and already kennel trained—she’s ready to impress with her smarts!
Kadie loves meeting new people and is a social butterfly, with a special fondness for kids of all ages. She enjoys long walks, backyard play, and any activity that keeps her active and engaged. A loving home where she can get regular exercise and lots of attention will help her continue to grow into the best companion.
Kadie has had positive interactions with other pets, though she prefers to meet them first. With the right introduction, she would be happy to share her home with other furry friends.

The suggested adoption donation for Kadie is $350. Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization which means that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2020 alone, we were able to provide animal Healthcare costing over $241,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.
Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.
Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.
