Story
Edamame is a gentle and sweet one year old Siamese cat with pure blue eyes, and she can be talkative with her quiet trills. Edamame is shy at first when meeting new people but will warm up quickly to gentle pets and soft voices that tell her how beautiful she is. This is a social little cat with petite feet, and she likes to prance all around you as she rubs against your legs or hops up to brush against your shoulders. She doesn't like to be picked up, but she will sit in a lap when it is her choice. In fact, when Edamame had a litter of kittens, she wanted to be in her foster mom's lap while nursing her babies. Later, she draped herself across her foster mom's shoulders and supervised her babies being bottle fed. She will tolerate other gentle cats if introduced slowly. She has not been around dogs, so extra careful introduction to a relaxed dog would have to take place. Could you offer Edamame a quiet home (considerate and respectful children over 12) where she can get to know you and enjoy a cozy, peaceful life? Edamame prefers canned food (Fancy Feast) over dry food but will eat both.March 8, 2025, 8:26 pm

Story
Tyrone (4-5 years old) Tyrone is a beautiful flame point Siamese with blue eyes. His face is large and broad with soft flame markings across his nose, forehead, and ears, and he is also a big boy at 17 lbs. Right now, Tyrone is extremely shy and wants to hide, and he is also frightened of noises outside of his room. He would need plenty of latitude and understanding from his adopter family to allow him to keep to himself when he needs to. A soft bed that is large enough for Tyrone to hide under might be a wonderful gift from you to him. Small children and dogs might be too much for Tyrone, as he is quite reserved. He likes pettings along the sides of his face, and he warms up a bit to being brushed, but he isn’t ready right now to make any first moves to ask for affection. Could you help this sensitive, gentle giant settle into a quiet household and come out of his shell? It would be well worth your patience and time.March 9, 2025, 10:48 am
