Story
Meet Lolly – The Spunky Little Sister! Lolly is the tiniest, scruffiest, and sassiest little pup around! This adorable tricolor cutie looks like a mini fox terrier, with a soft but scruffy coat and the most expressive little face. At just seven weeks old and barely 2 pounds, she’s proof that big personalities come in small packages! Lolly will be ready for her forever home in about a month, and we’re searching for a family who will embrace her spunky nature and commit to her lifelong care. Her ideal home will: Be dedicated to training, socialization, and regular grooming Have someone home often (no more than four consecutive hours alone) Provide a secure backyard for playtime and zoomies Ideally have another playful dog to help her learn and grow Bold, confident, and full of personality, Lolly may be tiny, but she knows exactly what she wants! She and her brothers, Capri and Ripple, were found abandoned in a cardboard box behind a dumpster in Fresno, but thanks to loving foster care, she’s thriving. We estimate Lolly will grow to around 6–10 pounds full-grown, though her breed mix is a complete mystery! We’d love for her future family to do a DNA test to finally uncover her origins. If you’re looking for a tiny pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Lolly just might be your perfect match! To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. If deemed a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or seek additional information. In the event your application isn't accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. Your application remains active for 90 days, allowing consideration for other dogs in our care. Simply email us if there is another dog you would like your application to be applied to. Story
Meet Capri – The Cutest Tiny Mystery Mix! Capri is an absolutely adorable, pint-sized pup with a golden and white coat that’s soft yet slightly coarse. At just seven weeks old and barely 2 pounds, he’s as cute as they come! While his brother Ripple is fluffy and black-and-white, Capri looks completely different—proof that puppies can have multiple dads! We suspect he might have some Jack Russell or mini terrier in him, but his exact mix is anyone’s guess. Capri will be ready for his forever home in about a month, and we’re searching for a family who will give him the love and commitment he deserves. His ideal home will: - Be dedicated to training, socialization, and grooming. - Have someone home regularly (no more than four consecutive hours alone). - Provide a secure backyard for playtime and adventures. - Ideally have another friendly dog to help show him the ropes. Despite his tiny size, Capri has a big, bright personality! He’s playful, affectionate, and full of charm. He and his siblings were rescued after being found abandoned in a cardboard box behind a dumpster in Fresno, but now he’s thriving in foster care. We estimate Capri will grow to around 6–10 pounds full-grown, though that’s just an educated guess. If you’re looking for a tiny, lovable companion with a unique look and a heart of gold, Capri might be your perfect match! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Hutch is a  transfer from the SFSPCA. He was a bit overwhelmed by all the city noise and activity. He has settled in at the ranch and is such a sweetheart! This little guy is a true snuggle bug and couldn't be more adorable with his big Chihuahua ears and long graceful legs. Hutch has been with us for many years and is bonded to his kennel mate (brother?) Rickie. He's a senior guy now and has a few health conditions such as arthritis. He's an easy keeper though, and is more like a cat than a dog. He prefers to be indoors or laying in a sunny spot in the yard where it is quiet. He prefers napping to walking these days and is looking for a home with Rickie where he can live out his golden years. All of our animals are up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had a physical exam. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one month’s worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one week’s worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in. We also provide lifetime basic positive training support.   If you would like to meet any of our animals, please complete our adoption application at www.azayaranchsanctuary.org or email info@azayaranchsanctuary.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rickie is a shy guy that loves going for walks. He is even good with kitties! His mix is a mystery as he has long graceful legs and dainty little ears. His personality has really started to shine and he is a goofy little clown that shows his affection by rubbing his head against you. Rickie has been with us for many years and is bonded to his kennel mate (brother?) Hutch. Rickie is an easy keeper and is happy to nap the day away in a cozy or sunny spot. He still enjoys a stroll around the neighborhood and is fine with other dogs, although energetic puppies can be too much for him. Come meet this silly and entertaining little man today!
