Story
GO BIG OR GO HOME! If that's your motto, then I'm your dog! I'm Bino, and I'm a 2-year-old some have described as "needing to learn manners" but I prefer to think of as EXUBERANT and FUN-LOVING! I'm really, really excited to meet you and show you just why I'm the dog for you. Now I admit, we probably will need to learn some things together. We probably should take some classes so I can become the best doggo in the land...but no matter what, you will love me and I will love you and we will be besties. I love people of all ages and I make sure to greet people with a wiggle and a smile when they walk by. You and I will be fast friends after just one meeting. I guarantee it! Cause, everyone needs some BIG DOG LOVE!

Story
Johnny is a resilient cream/white Chihuahua mix, neutered and weighing a sturdy 17 pounds. Born approximately in May 2021, he's a survivor with a compelling story. Johnny's past wasn't easy; he found himself on the euthanasia list, but fate had better plans for him. In June 2023, Chihuahua Rescue came to his rescue, and it was just in the nick of time. Johnny's early experiences with humans left him wary, as he was trapped and even subjected to a catch-pole. These incidents only deepened his distrust of people, understandably so. However, Johnny does have a glimmer of hope. He may have been afraid, but he showed a promising side by accepting food from certain kind-hearted individuals. Food is his motivation, and it's a crucial tool in his rehabilitation journey. By increasing his dopamine levels through positive interactions and tasty treats, he's slowly but surely on the path to recovery. Johnny's journey to trust and happiness is ongoing. Dogs like him, who have endured rough treatment, need time and patience to heal. While he's not currently available for adoption, with the right care and environment, he has the potential to thrive. It's important to note that Johnny may not be the best fit for households with children or a lot of visitors. He'll need a safe space to retreat to when strangers are around. Keep an eye on his progress and watch as he transforms from a fearful pup to a more confident and loving companion.

Meet Gemma, a resilient soul surrendered by owners who couldn't see her beyond the confines of their expectations. Gemma's journey began in January 2019, and she found herself in new hands in December 2022, eager to start fresh. Life has taught Gemma to be cautious around new faces, but she's on a path to rebuild trust with the right companions. Gemma, a double-coated Chihuahua mix, has a heart that melts for food, making it a tasty bridge to friendship. She's up to date on vaccinations and microchipped, ensuring her safety. Her previous owners believed in a firmer approach, but Gemma is now embracing a gentler path towards learning and understanding. Currently, Gemma is in the process of rehabilitation. Beneath her initial shyness, you'll find a sweet, joyful, fun-loving, curious, and intelligent companion. She's diligently working on boosting her self-assurance and overcoming her reservations about unfamiliar faces.
