Story
We are looking for a very special home for a very special little old girl. Dory was turned into the shelter as a stray. She is deaf and blind and wasn't spayed. Her teeth were rotten. She had a urinary tract infection. The shelter estimated she's about 16 years old. But her life turned around when she arrived at FLFO. We knew it was risky for her age but we had her spayed and all of her remaining teeth needed to be extracted. She is fully healed now and is so happy! She is able to eat pain-free and loves her food, whereas before it was a struggle getting her to eat. Dory does have incontinence and must wear a diaper. We use washable ones. She's a very sweet and lovable little angel, deserving of a home who will appreciate her for who she is. Do you have what it takes to unconditionally love Dory for the remainder of her life? She's healthy so could be around for a while! FLFO requires a home visit therefore adopters must be within 40 miles of Baldwin MD.

Story
My father purchased Snowflake from a nice lady in Texas 14 years ago, she was about 2 months old, she was a gift for my daughter at the time, but I couldn't afford to keep her so Dad took her on the road with him (he was an truck driver) until he passed away in 2019, we were all devastated so of course without hesitation we obtained little Snowflake. I learned overtime Snowflake does not like being alone, she does well riding in the car, this comes from riding long distance with my Daddy, she's a very sweet little doggy, she doesn't bark unless someone's knocking at the door or ringing the doorbell, she LOVES to cuddle and LOTS of belly rubs. I'm now in a place where I truly cannot care for my little Snowflake in the way she needs me and it's heartbreaking. She NEEDS a loving home, now that she's older she needs more care that I cannot once again afford. I have pet insurance, however, having it does no good because I still have to pay the upfront cost, but I keep it in case of emergenc

Story
My family and I are looking to rehome our 4 year old toy poodle(8Lb) Daisy. She is blind due to past owner mistreatment. Both her eyes were removed at the shelter. Despite this, she is very good at navigating her environment. She is very sweet and is house trained but she needs to go out every 4-6 hours. She is a lap dog as she loves to be held and pet all day. She enjoying social gatherings because she gets all the attention and love from everyone. She does know how to sit on command and laying down is a work in progress. Since she is blind she is does not do well around other dogs especially big dogs. She tends to hide behind us. As for small dogs, the same thing , but tends to warm up after a couple visits. She did fine around our toddler but does not enjoy kids. She tends to bark a lot in the home when she hears doorbells or someone knocking because she is scared. She mainly like only adults who are willing to hold her and give her all the love she needs.

Story
Hi All, This is Seven. Seven is 5 years old, and he is the sweetest Toy Poodle. It breaks my heart to have to rehome Seven, so please know this is not easy and no way reflects how amazing of a buddy Seven is. Seven is great with kids, may actually be a preference as he has lots of energy. Seven is also very friendly with dogs, both small and large. As a small dog, it is common for a little anxiety and sometimes I notice a little separation anxiety with him. After a few, he’s all set again! Small dog that thinks he is a bulldog, never bit anyone, but will growl and warn if he feels he has to protect his humans. Trained and ready to meet you all! ❤️
