Story
Chauncey is a happy, HIGH-ENERGY Beagle we adopted at 5 months old from a local pet shop in Miami, FL. He is now 1.3 years old, healthy, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations (next due by the end of summer). He’s incredibly playful, loves fetch, tug-of-war, chasing geckos, and being outdoors. He thrives in nature and has a strong hound instinct for exploring, hunting, and running. Chauncey absolutely adores other dogs and struggles with being alone. Because of his separation anxiety, he would do best in a home with at least one other dog. We’re looking to rehome him because we did not fully understand the needs of his breed and feel he deserves a better fit. He is more of an outdoor dog and would thrive with an experienced hound owner who has a large yard or land, time to train, and ideally another dog for companionship. Chauncey is a sweet, loyal boy who just needs the right environment to be his best self. He is also crate and potty trained!

Story
Meet Princess, a beautiful 5-year-old, red and white basset hound weighing in at 62 pounds. She’s spayed, heartworm negative, and fully up to date on all her vaccines. This lovely lady is also potty trained and doesn’t require a crate—she’s got excellent house manners! Princess adores adults and children alike, making her a wonderful family companion. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, she would thrive best as the only dog in the home. Like many bassets, she’s not shy about using her voice—she’ll bark and howl to let you know how she’s feeling! But don’t let that fool you—Princess is a sweet, affectionate girl with a gentle heart and plenty of love to give. She’s ready to rule your heart and your home… all she needs is the right family to call her own.

Story
This is Boba! He’s a 60lb, ten-year-old hound-mix and he’s ready for his forever home. We don’t know what he’s mixed with, but we know he’s a sweet, goofy, adorable guy that’s such a character. Boba is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on vaccines and taking monthly preventatives. Boba is also potty trained and doesn’t require a crate. He rides well in the car, walks well on a leash and loves going on walks. He loves people and children - his tail starts wagging when children appear. He’s got a great temperament and really just enjoys hanging out, relaxing and enjoying his people. Boba would do best in a house without other dogs or cats, and Boba does currently require prescription food. If this wonderful, and silly guy looks like he’d be a great fit for you, please reach out or fill out an adoption questionnaire at AllHoundRescue.org/adopt
