Story
Meet Archer! He came to us after his owners could no longer care for him and he is now searching for a new forever home! Archer is a walker coonhound that is 9 years old but don’t let his age fool you, he still loves to run around and play! Archer is around 75 pounds. Archer is housebroken and is good with kids, but will need a home without cats. Archer is good with the other dogs. We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 siblings to make sure everyone gets along! Archer is up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped & neutered! Best part is Archers adoption fee has been mostly sponsored to help find him a forever home! Story
Maizy is a sweethearted, family oriented, high energy hound. We rescued her from a shelter in fall of 2023. She has been a loving member of our family since. She does so well with our other 2 dogs --although she did quickly become the alpha dog of our house. She plays, runs, and snuggles with them. She has never bit them or any of us. We currently have a 1 year old and she is the sweetest dog to him, she lets him pet her (sometimes pretty aggressive toddler pets!) but has never once shown any aggression towards him. She will let him pick food out of her bowl and still no snaps or barks. With regards to housetraining she did initially have an accident on our carpet but once she settled in the home she has not had an accident since. We are rehoming because we recently moved and 3 dogs are too much for our family. She is loud (all coonhound). She is a dog that needs a large area to run and play in. She has no health problems.
