This is Lainey. We believe that she is a 1.5 year old Coonhound mix but she only weighs about 25 pounds! She is a pocket Hound with long ears and legs! Lainey came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on June 12th. She was brought to us by an Arkansas shelter that needed to open up space for incoming dogs. Since she has been in care, staff members say that she is a wiggly ball of energy and love! She loves attention, other dogs and wagging her tail. She is still working on leash manners and housebreaking but she seems eager to learn! Her adoption fee is $400. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption. In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $45 fee to cover the 6 months of heartworm prevention we will send home with each adoptee. Sawyer is a 3 year old hound who is sweet as can be. He loves everyone and loves other dogs. He would love a doggy friend to play with everyday. He has energy but will also relax and nap too. Meet cutie-pie, Calvin Calhound! He’s a 2 1/2 year old hound mix weighing around 50 pounds. He was found as a stray in rural SEMO and brought into rescue. Unfortunately, Calvin had been shot and needed his front leg amputated, but that doesn’t slow him down. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys snuggling his humans. We feel Calvin would do best in a home with older children since he is a tripod. He does fine with his foster dog siblings, but could easily be an only dog. Calvin has not been cat tested. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and on preventatives. Calvin is crate trained, rides great in the car, is treat motivated and learning how to play with toys.
