This lanky coonhound is basically a cartoon character brought to life—he hasn’t quite figured out where his limbs end or how gravity works, but boy is he having fun trying. His tail? Completely rogue. It’s operating on its own schedule and has no regard for your coffee table decor. His kisses? Abundant. His bark? Shockingly chill. You’d expect a deep bay from a hound, right? Nope—Greg sounds like a soft breeze rustling through the trees. Honestly, if all hounds were this quiet, we’d have world peace. 🐔 Chickens and cats? Uh… Greg says “probably not.” Unless they live behind a securely closed door and you’re cool with him being *extremely* curious. 💩 Potty training? We’re getting there. He’s putting in the effort and celebrating every outside victory like he just won Olympic gold. 🐶 Other dogs? Love ‘em! He’s still learning how not to be the overly excited kid at recess, but his foster siblings are helping him sort it out. 🛋 Human laps? Greg believes they were made for him, and no one can convince him otherwise. Personal space? Never heard of her. Story
Ricky is a 5 1/2 year-old male treeing walker coonhound. He has lots of energy and would be a wonderful adventure dog. I recently took him on a 10 mile hike and he did amazing. Of course he loves to have his nose to the ground, and I even saw him point several times. He loves to play with other high energy dogs. After he is done playing, he is the best snuggler. Ricky has been to training and has done wonderful. He knows many commands. He is very food motivated, which helps with training. Ricky has shown some food guarding around other dogs. No cats for Ricky, and kids 15+.
