Story
This beautiful boy is Freddy! Freddy is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound who weighs about 60 pounds. Freddy enjoys walks, playing with his foster friends, and cuddling with his humans. His zest for life makes him the perfect companion for a family outing to breweries, parks, and hiking adventures! If you've got that adventurous drive, Freddy is your guy! Once he's been tired out from exploring and playing, he will gladly melt into the couch with his people. Freddy gets along great with other dogs and would do well in a home environment with older children and an active lifestyle. He is up to date on vaccinations and his adoption fee will include future neuter and microchip. Please contact adopt@carolinapaws.com to learn more about how to make Freddy a part of your family!

Story
I’m Bibby, a dashing Treeing Walker Coonhound/terrier mix with a big personality that will keep you always entertained.I came to the Humane Society of York County from York County Animal Services, where I had been surrendered by my owners. My estimated birth date is June 2020.Sadly, I haven’t experienced stability in my life, which can make me wary when I meet new people. I just need a little extra time to get to know you, and then you’ll find out I’m a serious love bug, very sweet and affectionate.I’m the sporty type – I love being out in nature and I love water. There’s nothing like a good hike with my people. I’m a true companion dog! (But don’t get me wrong, lounging on the couch sounds wonderful, too.)I’m a big, high-energy boy (about 65 to 70 pounds), so I would do best in a home with no small children and no other pets. I would love to have an active family that would help me manage my energy. I love to be on the go exploring, and a fenced yard would be a big plus.If you’re looking for an affectionate hunk who will always be ready for adventure with you, we need to meet!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
Kimber is 10 years old. We received her as a foster/adoption in 2017. Multiple factors play a role in our decision to give her up but the most important reasons to share are that she has become territorial of food and sleep space, and she’s a runner. She has had several attempts at recall training but never able to be safely off leash. She has never bit any human or animal but she growls/snaps at our other animals and us if we go near her food or near her while sleeping. She is generally a sweet dog. She prefers to be outside as much as possible when it’s sunny out

Story
Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs.  She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive.  She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days.  PINC pays for these treatments.  We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Lacey is sweet, laid back, loves to be with her person, and loves other dogs.  We follow the American Heartworm Society's heartworm treatment plan and heartworm treatments are administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas.  We will require a fenced-in backyard for Lacey.  www.pincdogrescue.org/adopt is where you can submit an adoption application and see our adoption process. ##1101372##
