Story
Hey, Merlin here! I may not actually be a wizard, but I can still make your life magical! I am an energetic boy that has just had terrible luck finding my forever home. I've been brought to the shelter a few times in the last year or so for one reason or another, and unfortunately, no home ever really stuck. The main thing that people had a hard time with was my energy level and anxiousness with lots of commotion. I prefer a quiet yet active home, and my previous ones did not fit that. I have a history of being destructive in my home, but I am the kind of pup that needs a job to do and to get my mind working, otherwise I will get into things that I shouldn't. I just need someone that is willing to work with me on basic training. I am young yet, so it may just take some time and patience while I grow out of my puppy tendencies that I still have. I am a hound, so be prepared to deal with some barking, but let's be honest, that's kind of a package deal with my type of breed! I have lived with other dogs in my previous homes, and for the most part, I did well with them. However, some dogs here at the shelter do overwhelm me. I would need to be properly introduced to any new dogs that I would potentially share my home with in the future. I also lived with cats in the past but did have a tendency to chase them at times. I am a bit jumpy and mouthy when I get overexcited, so it would probably be best for me if I shared my home with older children if any. I am friendly with all people, but I just may be a bit much for some. Think we may be a good match? Ask to meet me at the shelter and find out! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 64.6 Age: 1yrs 8mths 2wks

Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: ❤️𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓❤️🐾 Sweet Garrett may be tiny, but his heart is huge! This adorable little guy had a rough start—found all alone on the side of a country road in Georgia, he was taken to a shelter where no one ever came to claim him. But now, he’s safe in Wisconsin and thriving in his foster home, hoping to finally find his forever family! Since arriving on 2/15/25, Garrett has been proving that size doesn’t matter—he may be small, but he keeps up with the big dogs like a champ! He’s friendly, playful, and always ready for fun. Plus, he does great off-leash and gets along with everyone he meets! 🐾 Super sweet & snuggly 🐾 Loves to play & explore 🐾 Great with other dogs & people 🐾 Brave little pup who hangs with the big dogs! Garrett is ready to leave his past behind and start his new life with a family who will love him forever.
