Turkish Angora kittens & cats in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Peanut and Avocado have been with us since they were kittens found behind our barn. They are beloved family pets who are unfortunately needing a new home due to an emergency situation. When we relocated to care for family, the family member had an anaphylactic reaction immediately. Though we have tried all available options we now need to find a loving home for them ASAP. Peanut and Avocado are loving, calm, and sweet. They love to be held, snuggled, and rocked. They have lived with three dogs and were home when our now 1st grader was a newborn, and have loved every person and animal they come in contact with. They are senior cats and sisters, so because of that we would ask that anyone who adopt adopt them both.

Sage is a high-energy cat seeking an experienced owner. Intelligent and affectionate, he thrives on playtime and human interaction. This sensitive boy needs a quiet, stimulating environment with plenty of space to roam. A cat wheel, a companion, something to climb and a larger litter box would be ideal. Sage has previously lived harmoniously with a dog and would likely enjoy a similar arrangement. With a unique personality, Sage prefers head scratches to petting and being held. He has a discerning palate that excludes chicken-flavored wet food. His nightly "soup" ritual of soaked dry food blended with wet food keeps him hydrated and happy.   So many stories in the rescue world about cats and they all seem to have the same start all too often and too sad.  This stunning grey tabby and white boy is called Chester, he is just barely one year of age and born to a stray momma cat.  Living outdoors all his life, his momma brought him and his littermates to a family house where she hoped to be fed and to care for her litter born outside a home.  Somehow her 4 kittens survived and here is Chester to prove that miracles can happen for these lost and forgotten mommas and their babies.  Chester is now a very handsome 13 pound boy that has been invited inside a foster home and is being given the wide berth to relax and make himself at home as a pampered and well fed adult cat.  He’s still super shy and will hide a lot under the bed, but he is starting to come out for some play time and chin scratches.  In just 4 days he has made such strides and advancements to allow toys to entice him to come out several times without fear and allow his new foster mom Joyce to pet him and given him chin rubs.  He is learning to be petted and to trust this new foster mom.  He and his littermates are all grown up but very young and they are getting better with the litterbox training and are eating with a hearty appetite.  We feel that time and patience will see Chester and his siblings stay out from under a bed or in hiding more and more as they learn they are safe and have a promise of food and love every day for the rest of their life.  If you are interested in helping Chester learn daily how to receive love and be happy with being touched, then please email us and ask to foster him or adopt him.   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com we are anxious to find a capable home to love him all the way.
