Story
Kyle, a beautiful, 12-year old Turkish Van rescue, has been with us for the past 10 years. She can be the cutest and cuddliest cat, and will nuzzle you. ask for pets and want to sit in your lap when she's comfortable with you. She has always had a mean streak, and will start to scratch or bite if she gets in the mood. She's around 11 years old and has Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), so cannot be with any other cats unless they are also FeLV+. She's currently in a home with two toddlers and unfortunately it's too chaotic for her and the kids. She's started scratching and biting both kids, even completely unprovoked, and it's making it harder for everyone in the home. She didn't have this many issues when she lived with only adults and no kids, so we think she's in need of a quieter household (ideally with an all adult household or a family with older kids, and with no other cats). She is in need of a patient, cat-loving owner who is willing to give her space when she needs it!

Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. There are two kittens left from our Lion King litter and they are absolutely the sweetest boys ever! At 15 weeks old they enjoy spending their days doing all things kitten centric, like lounging in the cat tree by the window, wrestle mania sessions with each other, tunnel running, feather chasing and toy mouse hunting. They are currently living with a couple of adult cats in their foster home and could easily join a home with another cat or even a cat savvy dog. They are also an option for a home with children. If you are interested in adopting a bonded pair, they would love to stay together but we will adopt them out individually if the perfect match comes along for each of them. Here are some unique characteristics about both of them. Banzai - This gorgeous tuxedo baby has a supper soft and fluffy coat and is the largest of the group. He is a very regal guy for such a little baby. We think he is going to be a big cat when full grown. He is very sweet, playful and curious. He immediately captures your heart with his charming personality. Zazu - He is just precious. Very affectionate and loves to be held and kissed. His foster home says he is a true lap cat. He is also very self-assured and bold. He gets along great with everyone (human and furry alike) and has boundless energy. He also is a super purr machine! They have been neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 each or $350 for the pair.August 19, 2024, 11:40 pm

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. Our Alphabet Litter are a fantastic bunch of 15 weeks old kittens that have been hand raised in one of our wonderful foster homes They are very outgoing, sweet, and of course playful. They could easily join a home with another cat, dog or kids. They can be adopted individually or in a pair. They are such little characters with unique personalities and here are some special traits about each of them.   Archie - His foster home calls him the little gentleman. He is very sweet, mild mannered and charming. He enjoys playtime with his siblings, but he doesn't have over the top kitten energy. He would make an excellent snuggle buddy in bed at night or movie time on the couch.   Blizzard - He is the party animal of the litter; he is fearless and loves to test his limits. His foster home says he will keep you on your toes as he likes to play tricks on his siblings and entertains his people with his over-the-top personality. And he is also sweet as can be.   Cherie - She is a quintessential tortoiseshell girl. She is sassy, independent and confident. She loves to play with her siblings but is also good at self-entertaining. Her tortie markings are so beautiful, we could stare at her all day.   Dottie - She is the goofball of the group. She makes her foster home laugh with all her funny antics. When she was rescued, we noticed a single black spot on her head, at first, we all thought it was dirt, but it turned out to be a beauty mark instead. She is a gorgeous girl.   Echo - His foster home says he has a sidekick personality; he goes with the flow, but he isn't one to join the chaos. He chills with his people and watches the mayhem of his siblings. He joins in from time to time but mostly he is all about his humans. He likes to be where they are. They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 per kitten or $350 for a pair. Apply to adopt one (or two) of these cuties today!August 19, 2024, 11:40 pm

She has done a wonderful job raising her kittens but now it's her turn to be the center of attention. She has the most beautiful and soulful eyes. They just draw you in and keep you there. She would love to find a family that will adore her. She would enjoy having a cat tree and window bed in her new home. Also lots of yummy treats. She has perfect litterbox skills and a good appetite. She would love to have a family she can share many happy years with. She is sure to bring a lot of love to the home. We think she could join a home with another cat or cat savvy dog and older children would be fine too. Or she could be your one and only. Is she the one for you? Apply to adopt her today. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.August 19, 2024, 11:40 pm

There are two boys and two girls. They are sweet. affectionate and fun. They can be adopted individually or in a pair. They can easily join a home with a resident cat, cat savvy dog or cat experienced kids. Here are some special traits about each of them.   Rainier - Affectionately called 'Rainee' by her foster mom, she is the smallest of the litter but full of spunk. She holds her own against her bigger siblings. She loves getting pets, being held and loved on. She is a little sweetheart.   Olympus - He is the leader of the group and is the first to venture forth. Being the largest in size, he is also very confident. He would be a great family cat because he has a bold personality and would walk right in and act like he owns the place.   Fuji - This little girl has a more passive personality. She loves to play with her siblings and climb the cat tree but also can just chill solo too. She would be a great addition to home that wants a devoted kitten who wants to cuddle with them.   Everest - This little cutie pie is the quietest of the group. He has a pleasant personality and gains his confidence from his littermates. He would be an ideal companion for a resident cat in the home. We know he will continue to blossom as he matures. He is a such a sweet boy.   They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped.
