Mavi was found abandoned at just 2 days old. He was bottle fed and turned out to be a gorgeous unique cat. Two different colored eyes- blue and green. This sweet girl was in a bad situation, her owners said that she was too hyper for them and they kicked her out of the house. A very kind lady took her in and then got her to us. She is not hyper, she is a super sweet, energetic fun kitten. She loves to play with the other cats. She does like to be pet and enjoys being around us. Understandably she can be shy and isn’t comfortable yet with being picked up. We adore her and are looking for her forever home

The family made their way to The Rescue House, and in foster care, they began to flourish. During her time there, we noticed that Katy has chronically weepy and slightly red eyes—the right more so than the left. We took her to the ophthalmologist, and she is on a regimen of three separate types of eye drops administered twice daily to address the issue. Even though things are under control, she requires follow-ups every six months to ensure nothing has changed. With that sorted and all of her siblings adopted, Katy now is ready to find her forever home too! PERSONALITY: On most days, you can find Katy embracing the true San Diego spirit by soaking up the sun in her favorite spot by the window! (In Katy’s opinion, naps are a must after breakfast or an afternoon of games and frolicking with her foster friends, so why not pick a sunny spot for a snooze?) Speaking of meals, Katy loves food and is vocal about making sure you know when it’s time to eat! Katy’s other favorite activity is playing. In terms of activities, she adores interactive wand toy sessions with you and boogying down on the playground with her feline companions! While she appreciates wrestling, cuddling, and romping around with kitten pals, she also is able to be independent and self-entertain. Mishka is mostly White with some Tabby patches here and there, including the cutest Cindy Crawford mark above her lip. Mishka was rescued from a backyard when she was only about 6 weeks old. Her and her mama were homeless and brought in to safety. As a kitten she quickly made friends with others. She still has that kitten energy as her favorite thing to do is get the Zoomies and run up her cat tree! It is so funny to watch her parkour skills! She also enjoys fitting herself into boxes and small spaces. She can be a little shy at first but when she's ready to relax after all that hard play, she loves the company of her people and to sit next to them while they are chilling on the couch. Mishka's favorite thing above all is her sister Tunia. They are so very bonded, sleep together, play and groom each other. I’m Medley, a beautiful dilute calico or maybe tortie with a coat as vibrant as my personality. I was named for the "medley" of soft colors in that coat. If you’re looking for a chill companion, you’ve just found her! With a reputation for being the most well-behaved kitty around, I’m the perfect blend of playful and serene. I’ve had quite the journey, transitioning from the streets of San Bernardino to the cozy comforts of my foster home. I was at an abandoned house that once hosted 60 cats, and most all died from panleukopenia, aka, panleuk. But, I was healthy except for a chronic anemia that Feline the Love treated for six months, and I didn’t have much energy. That was almost two years ago, and I'm rockin'! (It's hard to live outside with sick cats, little food, and trying to survive. Right?) My health records are complete and always available to show how healthy and grateful I am! Voila! Now, I’m a bundle of energy, and I’m ready to find my forever family! I adore lounging by the window, watching the world go by, but I promise—no more outdoor adventures for me. I’m all about that indoor life! While I’m a low-key gal and not much of a chatterbox, I do love gentle hand sniffs before you pet me. Trust me, back scratches are the ultimate treat! My purr, is, well, the BEST. I don't meow a lot (I know you like to focus!) but when I do, it is SOOO cute, like me! Blossom is a gorgeous torbie kitten. She is super playful & silly. She loves to play with her sisters, Flower and Petal. Her favorite thing is attention from people and she's always the first to greet her foster mom. She loves taking long naps in laps. Blossom is a high energy kitten and we think she would do best in a home with one of her sisters or another cat to play with. We hold option events most Sundays 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at PetSmart, 23602 El Toro road in Lake Forest.
