Story
Meet HELMET... named after Dark Lord Helmet in the comedy film, Spaceballs. If you're looking for personality, Helmet's your boy!! He will run to greet you at the door, perch on your shoulder or hop into your lap - whether you're situated or not. This boy has been raised in a busy foster home with young children and dogs. Basically, I think he thinks he's a dog. And his purr? You can hear it clear across the room!! This boy LOVES to wrestle, pounce and chase his playmates. You'll find his complete rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #32 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties". There you'll find ALL of our rescued cats and kittens along with updates from their fosters and adopters! Helmet's adoption will include his: * Neuter surgery, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination (if old enough), * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making Helmet a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

Story
Meet Sebastian, a handsome, long-haired, black and white, Turkish Van complete with ear/toe tufts and plume-like tail. This fluffy boy LOVES pets, scratches, and being brushed. His his loud purr will let you know just how much, too! Sebastian’s loyalty and affection are unmatched—he’ll want to be by your side, sharing every moment with you. He loves to play and will keep you entertained with his silly antics. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and devoted furry friend, Sebastian's your boy! Adopt Sebastian today and let this energetic and sweet boy bring endless happiness to your home! When this dapper fella showed up at a friend's apartment building, he was limping from an abscessed bite wound on his front leg. My guess is he was abandoned when his humans moved away, leaving him to fend for himself and, because he was still intact, either got into a fight with another Tom or was attacked by another animal. He was fearful when he was first introduced to life indoors but he needed time to heal and receive ongoing antibiotics. Once fully healed, he was neutered, vaccinated and combo-tested (= negative!). During his cage rest, foster mom, Caryn, realized he was starving for affection and connection! Once he was given free roam of her home, we quickly realized he'll do best as the only pet. Foster mom gives him plenty of time to run, play and enjoy following her around, room-to-room. But because she has other cats, they need to be kept separate. So, if you're a retired couple, empty-nesters or someone who works from home - who is looking for the PURRFECT companion, let's schedule a meet-n-greet! Be sure to watch his Adoption Video and fall in L-O-V-E!! You'll find his complete rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #32 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties". There you'll find videos and photos of ALL our rescued cats and kittens... including updates from fosters and adopters. Story
This is a ‘Courtesy Posting.’ To meet Stardust & Ziggy contact Marisol: 917.443.7013 or boyleheightscats@gmail.com Stardust is a beautiful 2 1/2 year old White/Black Turkish Van mix with a unique face that is 3/4 white and 1/4 black. Her body is white except for a large black stripe across her back and her black tail and soul patch on her chin. She has large light green eyes, lots of white whiskers and a black star on her nose. Stardust and her sister were rescued from a bad situation but that has not affected their great personalities. Stardust is a bit of a relaxed Diva who knows she can get by on her good looks! While her sister is off chasing toys, Stardust prefers to lounge around the house and passes her days napping in her Cat tree. You will find her sitting on the couch watching TV if you let her. Stardust does enjoy chasing after her Cat dancer toy, dragging it around the house, or laser dot if it's playtime and she will show affection if you offer treats or when it's time to eat. She might be shy at first meeting but warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. Stardust is good with other Cats. She will bring love and fun to a lucky family. She is bonded to her sister Ziggy and they need to be adopted as a pair. To meet Stardust & Ziggy contact Marisol: 917.443.7013 or boyleheightscats@gmail.com
