Our precious tri-pawed pup, Duncan, is a one-year-old male miniature Vizla who had a rough start when he was hit by a car. But that hasn't slowed him down one bit! From the moment he joined us at CACC, he turned into a real love bunny, bouncing around happily and ready to start his new adventure. In just a few weeks, once Duncan is fully healed, he'll be zooming around with no problems at all! Duncan would thrive in a one-story home, but other than that, there are no limits for this spirited pup! He's also good with other dogs! If you make Duncan a part of your family, you'll be welcoming endless love and joy into your life.

Say hello to Holly!   When you adopt Holly you get Christmas all year long and, who doesn't want a redheaded friend?   Holly is a 15month-old, 42-lb girl who is even tempered and mild mannered but very affectionate with people and dogs.  She will probably be around 45-50 lbs when she is fully grown.   She was found in a box with 4 siblings with children who were trying to find someone who would take them so our foster did.   Holly lives with large and small dogs and does well with them.  She is training on a leash currently but is pretty easy going so learning well.  She is affectionate and sweet.  She is waiting for her family to find her and bring her home.   Because of her color and height she could have some Dachshund and/or Vizsla in her because she is low to the groundso definitely a mix with something else.  She has a sweet face and is very cooperative.   Please go to our website:  4dogsfarmrescue.org/Available-dogs.html to see video of Holly.  If you want to find out more about her, or are interested in adopting, the applicaiton is at 4dogsfarmrescue.org/Adoption.html Holly will come to you spayed and fully vetted. Marlie is a happy dog, ready to walk, hike, run, and play. She wants to be with you, doing things. She would be a lot of fun to have as the only dog in the house. She does well on a leash, and loves her walks (and running would be even better!) She cannot be trusted around little dogs, and is aggressive toward other female dogs. She would be a great dog for the right, responsible dog owner. If you want an active companion, and you can give her what she needs, please consider her. She has a great personality, and her one ear down, one up is just adorable!

Temporarily caring for a friend's dogs. My friend has two dogs, one German Shepherd and one mix breed German shorthair pointer Raya. Unfortunately, the two dogs couldn't get along despite trying various methods, so we had to temporarily take Raya in. We are now looking for a loving person to give Raya a forever home. Brown mix-breed German Shorthaired Pointer, over three years old, neutered, microchipped, healthy, and vaccinated. She may look fierce but is actually very friendly, does not bite, is timid, and is also a foodie. We tried to taking her to the beach to play, but she's extremely afraid of it. I tie her leash to a post to keep her from running around when I bathe her. She only goes to the bathroom outside, is crate trained, and sleeps in her crate at night.
