Story
LOBO is a handsome choc boy, 3 years, 60 lbs. He was running as a stray at a subdivision in Jackson, TN. An older retired couple kept him safe until our rescue had a place to put him. They still text asking if Lobo is adopted. The couple loved him but he was too entergetic for them and they could not give him the exercise he needs. Lobo is a tracking dog! He is missing his calling. Normally we don't promote dogs for hunting. But it is in Lobo's blood. With GPS tracking/training this would be considered. Or he needs an active human that needs a faithful friend & walking/running buddy. Lobo is crate and leash trained. Rides well. He does fine with his foster dog buddies. Not cat tested. He does need to be fed separately. Lobo is in Huntingdon/Clarksburg, West Tennessee area. Contact Lisa at 731-499-0739 or oatsvall973@yahoo.com Adoption fee is $175. And If needed, out of state transport is $165.

Story
*Name: Nadia  *Age: D.O.B. Approx 2/25/24 *Current Weight: 15lbs *Rescued from: Texas  *Adoption fee: $550  (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Hello, future family! My name is Nadia, and I'm a sweet 6-month-old pup with a heart as big as my smile. I came into the world and was adopted from the shelter when I was just a baby. Unfortunately, my first adventure was a bit of a rollercoaster—after ingesting rat poison, I was returned and spent a week in the hospital getting fluids. But guess what? I’m a little warrior and fully recovered, ready to bring joy and love into a new home! Here’s a bit about me: Social Butterfly: I love everyone I meet—humans, dogs, cats, pigs, and even parrots! I get along with all kinds of creatures and am always eager to make new friends. Playful and Loving: I’m full of energy and enthusiasm. Whether it's chasing after a toy or snuggling on the couch, I’m always up for a good time. Healthy and Happy: I’m in great health now and ready to live a long, happy life with my new family. I’m fully recovered and raring to go! I am UTD on vaccines, crate trained and working on my house training! If you're looking for a loving, friendly, and adaptable pup who will fill your life with happiness and fun, I might just be your perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever home where I’ll be showered with love and adventure. With tail wags and puppy kisses, Nadia IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2144523##

Story
Esme is a simple girl that came to our attention at Critter Cavalry Rescue as she struggled to find a place to raise her 7 puppies that she birthed.  The odds were stacked but she managed to bring 3 of the 7 puppies through to the place that they could be adopted during the coming weeks.  This girl is 2 years old, weighs 35 pounds and has a sleek, beautiful demeanor that speaks to everyone she meets with a kindness and courage.  Esme is learning how to enjoy the niceties of being an inside dog as she has raised her puppies.  She is housebroken, crate trained and is good with all the other dogs and cats at the foster home.  She is around young active children (boys) and she keeps her calm demeanor through all the activities of the children. She loves people so much and just to be with someone.  She is food motivated and very bright and can learn so much if you use the treat method to win her attention and desire to learn a trick or commands. She is a great medium energy girl that is ready to chase a toy or ball but has not gotten the memo on how to bring it back to the person who threw it. She is wonderful on a leash and has a slight playful side to her. This pretty girl is really not big at all and on the smaller side of a Lab and she demands little from life or her people.  We are wanting the sun, moon and stars for her future with a new family. Could you give that to her?  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information!*Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.August 19, 2024, 2:09 am

Story
JUST  ARRIVED IN THE NORTHEAST ON SATURDAY AUGUST 10!   Age 9 weeks as of 8/7 Weight 14 lbs Adoption donation $850 Boy, do we love Winifred! She is an absolutely adorable puppy who is so smart and a loving, kissy faced chunky monkey. Winifred  just arrived in the northeast on Saturday, August 10 and has immediately made herself at home, playing with her new foster siblings and wanting to snuggle with everyone she meets.  Winifred appears to be a pointer mix. Her mother showed up at the home of an elderly couple in rural Mississippi and almost immediately gave birth to two puppies. Sadly, Winifred’s sister wandered off one day and was never seen again. So there’s just Winnie and Mom now, and both need loving homes.  Mom is about 38 pounds, dad didn’t stick around.   Winifred is about nine weeks now in early August, she is just a typical puppy, sweet and cuddly, with lots of tail wags and kisses. Wags has administered two of her three puppy shots and Bordetella, Winnie will need a  rabies shot after she is at least 12 weeks. Winifred is too young to be spayed, she will have the procedure in the northeast when she is older, Wags will pay at one of the clinics that we use or reimburse adopters what we pay. her Mom is about 38 pounds, dad didn’t stick around!   We’d love a home for Winnie where someone is around a lot to give her the attention that she needs. Like any puppy, she needs structure and training to grow up to be the very good girl we know she can be. for more information please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com            August 19, 2024, 7:04 am
