Story
Stella is an 8-year-old “Vizsla Mix” according to her papers. She was loved, but a baby arrived in the family. Due to Stella’s anxieties and the potential risk to the baby, we agreed to take her in temporarily, and she has been with us almost a month. Stella gets agitated by strange noises and loud sounds, and wants to control them. We have found that Stella responds very well to the threat of a squirt of water (when we are quick enough to react), but she wears a training collar just in case. Overall, Stella is usually friendly and sweet. Her tail wags often and she plays with toys and plays fetch too. She knows commands. She barks but warms up to people easily. She has no problem getting approved at and staying at boarding establishments. She is fully potty trained, and regularly wants to sleep from 8:30/9pm to 8/8:30am in her crate.  Stella comes with all of her care items and extras. The best home for Stella would be one without young children, babies, or cats/other small pets.
