Its no secret that we are suckers for Weimaraners, and its no secret that we are suckers for German Shorthaired Pointers. When we heard about a litter of Weimaraner x GSP puppies needing help, we jumped at the opportunity. We'd love to introduce our Water Dog litter! Their mother is a German Shorthaired Pointer and their father is a Weimaraner. These beautiful babies are 12 weeks old and are sure to grow into AMAZING companions. Weimaraners and GSPs are both high energy, high drive bird dogs who need a lot of stimulation - both physical and mental - in order to live their best lives. Their ideal families are active families with high energy breed experience and the patience to work with them on training so that they can be set up for a successful life. All six of them have been great with each other and other dogs, and we'd love for them to have four legged siblings to show them the ropes. They are baby puppies and will need alllllll of the puppy training but they are SO worth the work! Delta - M Splash - M Tide - M Wave - M Stream - F Brook - F They have started to settle in with their foster families and they are working through their veterinary needs, and they will be ready to go home soon! They are fostered in the Sarasota/Manatee area and their adoption fee is $400. Urgent Rehoming need - we thought we had a loving home for Sadie but it fell through and we will have to bring her to a shelter on Saturday August 3rd if we cannot find her a home. Sadie Mae is 8 1/2 years old. She is a sweet, gentle Catahoula Leopard / Rottie mix, weighs 63 pounds, and is in good health. She is current on Rabies, and just tested negative for Heartworm. We have food, Heartworm RX, fresh license for her as well as a doggie bed and blanket. Sadie loves to snuggle, go for walks, greenie treats, and short rides. She grew up with a large Rottie/lab mix until he passed away and did great. I would not recommend pairing her with small dogs. I think she would be okay with a large dog if she has time to get adjusted with them. Sadie deals with anxiety and can be timid, but she usually likes everyone she meets and is eager for soft pets on her head and belly rubs. She does not like to be left alone for long periods of time, but would thrive as someone's companion.
