Hercules lived the first of his life tethered to a chain on a tree. A Good Samaritan saw him posted online “ free to a good home “. Clearly the “ home “ he was currently at wasn’t that. He is between 1-2 years old. Dog and kid friendly, UTD on vax and prevention, heartworm negative and will Be neutered prior to going to his forever home. He is not house trained but this is to be expected living on a chain your whole life. He will need a patient forever home at first, but has so much love to give.

Update: Obi is doing great in his foster home. He has 2 foster Weim sisters and 1 Weim foster brother. He gets along with all of them!!! Obi loves to chase squirrels and birds; he is obedient, sleeps through the night on he end of the bed and has never messed in the house. Most of the time, Obi just likes to hang out and look out the window, but he does love a good run when he goes to the farm. Wait until you see Obi!!! Obi is a very handsome, sweet 8 yr old boy that was surrendered to rescue because his family's work scheduled changed and they could not provide the time and attention that Obi needed. Obi is good with other dogs, preferably submissive other dogs, is housebroken and loooooooooooooves his people. He's even good with CATS!!!! Obi rides well in the car and lived with children. Obi does have separation anxiety so his new family will need to be home most of the time, have a fenced yard (must be at least 6'), and can provide lots of exercise and love.

Miss Poppy was brought to us by some nice ladies that found her running along side of the highway. Thank goodness they saved her, she could have been seriously injured or even killed. We are so happy Poppy was saved, despite her hard beginning to life, she deserves a home of her own. Poppy is a beautiful blue pup, who is about year old. She's just a baby 1-2 years old At the shelter, which admittedly isn't the best gauge of behavior - she doesn't like other dogs or cats. So we would like to place her in a home with no kids and no other animals. Poppy is 1-2 and around 40-50 lbs. Give her a chance. To set her up for success from the get go, we recommend some training. She is very smart and would take to training quickly with a professional. She is funny. She always has something in her mouth like a leaf or whatever she can find.
