Story
Update: Obi is doing great in his foster home. He has 2 foster Weim sisters and 1 Weim foster brother. He gets along with all of them!!! Obi loves to chase squirrels and birds; he is obedient, sleeps through the night on he end of the bed and has never messed in the house. Most of the time, Obi just likes to hang out and look out the window, but he does love a good run when he goes to the farm. Wait until you see Obi!!! Obi is a very handsome, sweet 8 yr old boy that was surrendered to rescue because his family's work scheduled changed and they could not provide the time and attention that Obi needed. Obi is good with other dogs, preferably submissive other dogs, is housebroken and loooooooooooooves his people. He's even good with CATS!!!! Obi rides well in the car and lived with children. Obi does have separation anxiety so his new family will need to be home most of the time, have a fenced yard (must be at least 6'), and can provide lots of exercise and love.

Story
Meet Charlie! Charlie is a 4-year-old neutered, gray, male Weimaraner with a docked tail that is looking for his forever home! Charlie spent the first four years with his original owner and then the last 4 months with a family with small children. Charlie is coming into rescue because he didn’t appreciate the hustle & bustle of his home with young children and his family just wanted to make sure he was somewhere that he can relax and live his best life! Charlie loves to cuddle, go on walks, playing ball and riding in the car. He is friendly, outgoing, and just wants to please his people! He is good with other dogs but would probably be best in a home with an older dog. He is crate trained and may be ok with indoor cats with claws. We are just starting to learn more about him and will update when we know more! He will need a family that is willing to work with him on jumping and reinforcing his potty training. He knows his basic commands and even can do a few tricks! When he’s excited, he will jump up for a “hug”. Unfortunately, Charlie tested positive for heartworms and has recently been treated. He is going through his rest period and will be ready to go go go by mid April!
