Story
Available in TX, PNW, and NE! Meet Diamond, a precious 9-week-old Weimaraner/Mountain Cur mix with a gentle soul and a growing curiosity for the world around her. This sweet pup is in the early stages of learning the basics-she's already working on sitting, potty training, and coming when called with "here." Diamond also sleeps well in her kennel, making her a great nighttime companion. Though she may be a bit timid at first, Diamond quickly warms up and becomes your snuggle buddy. She loves to play and is learning to interact with other dogs, figuring out when her furry friends have had enough playtime. Diamond is a reserved pup who approaches new situations with caution, but her gentle and loving nature shines through once she feels comfortable. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly, and smart little companion, Diamond might be the perfect addition to your family! Story
Our family adopted Gus almost 3 years ago from a very close family friend who was relocating and unable to keep him and now we are in the same position, moving to a rental that doesn't take dogs. Our friend's were the ones who got him from a breeder as a puppy. He has had a great life and was our friend's hunting dog. He's trained as a hunting dog. He's not mouthy, won't chew or lick anything, including people. He's a great alarm system and will bark when someone comes to the door. Keep him away from other dogs please and delivery men. Otherwise, he's quite the loyal companion and loves kids. Our friends had 3 really young children during their time with Gus as did we. Our kids did great with him, he's a big pillow. He has a very mellow personality, just wants to lay around a sleep and cuddle. Great for a family, couple, or person living alone. He's a big dog, but very healthy, definitely over 75 lbs. He loves to be around his people and does well with female pet sitters.

These pups are in Boise, Idaho too!

Story
Koda is 2 years old, born April 3rd 2022 in Boise Idaho. She is 100% German Shorthair Pointer. She is an extremely loving and happy dog that needs a home that can keep up with her breed energy level with plenty of space to run and play around. She loves playing fetch and will chase a ball all day. She has her basic training commands down, but needs continuous training on a leash and on commands. She is great with other dogs and plays great with larger breeds. Koda plays well with children and adults. Her ideal home is one where she has minimal kennel time allowing her to move freely and run throughout the day instead of designated times following a typical work schedule. She may get bored in a kennel if she does not have hard style toys to chew on and/or have had enough exercise.

Story
Are you ready to welcome a burst of joy into your life? Big Bird is the perfect furry friend waiting for his forever home. This lovable goofball is sure to win your heart with his playful energy and hilarious antics.  He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a blast with water activities. Road trips are a breeze because he's a champ in the car. Plus, he's crate trained and follows commands like a pro.  Whether you live in a bustling city or a quiet countryside, Big Bird will fit right in and shower you with endless love and laughter. Don't miss the chance to make him a part of your family! Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for. We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters, and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes, our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you can see our posts.  Unfortunately Meet & Greets has been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animal travel has been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.  Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##2076009##
