Story
This pet fee will be donated to AWS Kennebunk. I am only asking for a pet fee to help ensure that the person adopting Hank has the money to take care of a dog and is adopting for the right reasons. Hank is a purebred blue weimaraner. He is chipped and up to date on his shots and medical checks. Hanks definitely requires an owner or family with an active lifestyle and a decent size backyard. He is NOT an apartment dog and will require daily walks or runs. He is a friendly dog who listens well to commands when he has been well exercised. If he stays locked up in a house for too long he can get rambunctious until he burns off some energy. Weimaraners will definitely challenge their owners and he needs an owner who has had energetic dogs before and knows how to handle them with discipline, patience and love. Hank is full of love and very kind to other humans and animals. He has lived with cats and a young child and he is friendly and sensitive to all.

Fleetwood, a gentle 5-year-old Weimaraner mix, exudes a calm and affectionate demeanor that endears him to everyone he meets. His soulful eyes and dignified presence reflect his maturity and wisdom beyond his years. Fleetwood enjoys leisurely walks and quiet moments of companionship, making him an ideal companion for relaxed lifestyles. Despite his laid-back nature, he remains playful and enjoys engaging in activities that stimulate his mind and body. Fleetwood eagerly awaits a forever home where he can share his gentle spirit and bring companionship and joy to a caring family. Fleetwood was in a foster home shortly before arriving at Darbster Doggy and this is what they had to say “ Fleetwood is a derpy boy with a heart of gold. He adores all humans, including the small kind. He can speak on command. All you have to say is, “can I get a woo?”. He also knows how to spin, sit, touch, lay down and shake your hand. All you have to say is “it’s nice to meet you” He is a fan of car rides and loves to go on adventures. This boy could walk for miles. He loves to hike! He loves to play with other dogs in playgroups and will often run circles around them. He is absolutely obsessed with the treadmill. It’s by far his favorite hobby! Fleetwood can often be found carrying around a stuffed animal. He is partial to a good game to “fetch”. Fleetwood has a softer side, though. He’s a cuddle bug and is quite content hanging out and watching the world go by with you. He’s a little too chunky to sit on your lap, but he’ll definitely give it his best try!”
