Story
Meet Guinness with the gorgeous eyes!! 4 weeks ago he began his adventure north and is learning how to be a domesticated dog. He has learned the routines of the day and enjoys walks with housemates. Daily he expresses more happiness and tail wags. Guinness is house trained, crate trained, and up to date on vaccines. His ideal home would be with another tolerant canine housemate and a quiet but active, patient human. Guinness is good with cats- barks when he wants them to play but no chasing. He loves Nylabones and cognitive Kong toys. He also enjoys car rides and outings with housemates for guidance and security. His neuter is scheduled 2/26 which may help with his anxiety and let him fill out. He is very shy around men. A rough beginning for this approximately 1 year old, thankfully this gentle boy has an opportunity to find his forever home. He is being fostered in Littlestown, PA Apply Now https://forms.gle/LDjduj2zTk7vvmHU7

Story
Rocky has been a long stay in boarding while we got this little chowder head to focus. Apparently his live had started with best guess, young boys, because his exuberance was over the top. We have finally gotten him under control. Other dogs still correct him at times because he just can't get that meet & greet scenario down pat, again exuberance. He is a very loving dog and would love the opportunity to live with someone who loves the outdoors and hiking. Sorry no apartments for this boy.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Scrappy is looking for a home! Please share! Scrappy was abandoned, left in a house without food or water. Thankfully a young man took him in but then moved out, leaving Scrappy with his grandmother. She’s been taking care of him, but she didn’t sign up to have him, and isn’t in the position to keep him. He is a smart boy and learns quickly. He would like to be a lap dog! He is about 2 years old and about 60lbs. He is house trained but will mark in the house because he is not yet neutered. He is young and playful. He has some separation anxiety but that may lessen with more exercise and more playtime. He currently lives with another dog and being with the other dog seems to really help with the separation anxiety. He is a counter surfer and constantly looking for food.He needs to be taught to walk on a leash and be socialized. This dog has so much potential!! Please consider him. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Update 2/15/25 Petey is currently enrolled in the Paws in Prison program. He started there on 2/10 and will be there for 8 weeks. During that time he will be with an inmate trainer who will work on the basics with him (basic obedience, leash walking, house training, etc.). They meet weekly with a dog trainer. When Petey graduates, he will have his Canine Good Citizen Certificate. We hope he has a home waiting for him when he graduates in April. 1/29/25 Meet Petey! This lovable boy will melt your heart with his sweet soul and affectionate nature. At just 6-8 months old, Petey is a playful and active pup who enjoys plenty of fun before settling down for cozy snuggles. He's making great progress with basic manners like not jumping, sitting, and walking nicely on a leash. Petey is kennel-trained, fully house-trained, and always ready to please. We do not know his breed. This website makes us pick a breed.  When his pictures were put in an app, it said Mountain Cur/Pointer mix. He is likely a mix of several breeds. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores everyone he meets. Petey is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative—ready to bring joy and love to his forever home!Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
