Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Milo🩵 * While at the Gimje Shelter, Milo would sit in a corner with a perpetually dejected expression on his face. When people approached, he used to retreat into the corner out of fear. To prevent his worry and anxiety from getting worse, he was rescued. * With People: Is wary of people and used to nip defensively, but this has improved a lot lately. His behavior is not aggressive, and he is taking training how to overcome it in school. With constant contact training, he's even accepted treats placed in the hands of people whom he knows! * With Dogs: Usually tends to lie down in a corner but occasionally initiates to play by approaching first and playing tag. May find overly energetic dogs a bit overwhelming, though. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as he goes for outdoor potty at our center. * Walks: Goes for walks on the leash well. Sometimes flinches or freezes in surprise during walks, but generally follows well. 💌Special Notes💌 * Nips defensively, but he's improving with continued engagement with Adogs staff! Adogs is looking for a temporary guardian or a forever family who is capable of carrying out desensitization and defensive behavior training for him. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, and completely cured from heartworm.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Deulle🌼 Deulle was brought to the shelter as a mother along with six puppies. Unfortunately, the poor shelter conditions claimed the lives of five of her puppies. She was rescued alongside her remaining puppy, #AdogsHoshi, and has since been cared for by Adogs. * With People: Is a people-loving sweetheart who thrives on affection. Often gazes at passersbys with eager eyes and sits close to them, asking for pets with her adorable charm. Exposes her belly with delight when people pet her. * With Dogs: Is polite and greets cautiously when encountering other dogs on the street. Prefers the company of medium or large dogs to small ones and enjoys calm interactions rather than rough play. * With Cats: Shows no aggression and seems interested in greeting cats gently when encountering cats during walks. * Separation Anxiety: Spends her alone time playing with toys or resting in her favorite spot. * Potty Training: Is well-trained to use indoor pads and also knows how to potty outdoors. * Grooming and Hygiene: Tolerates baths despite not being a fan. Handles dry blowing well, even if she finds the noise intimidating. Is very cooperative with brushing, toothbrushing, and nail trimming. * Walking and Outdoor Behavior: Walks well on a leash and usually matches her handler’s pace. May tug slightly when she wants to greet another dog. * Car Sickness: Tends to have no car sickness. ❗❗Health Status❗❗ * Spayed: Yes. * Others: Microchipped, and scheduled for heartworm recheck in March 2025. 💌Special Notes💌 * Training: Has already mastered commands like “shake,” "nose," "sit," and “wait.” * Vocalization: Rarely barks but may whine softly to express excitement about going for a walk. * Allergy: Gets rash and allergic to fucoidan insect feeds and care should be given in feeding her. Story
Hellooooo. PASHMAK here. Here's ust a bit of info below about me:Breed: Cairn Terrier/Spitz mixAge: 10 monthsGender: FemaleWeight: 9 kgHeight: tbdCountry of Origin: Middle EastHighlights: eager to please, learn & train, faithful, cuddly, mellow, funny, playful, intelligent Tell me you are after a cuddly, yet funny girl who will bring you daily laughs. Yup, me.My life before wasn't good. The human I lived with, well, they weren't really there, you know? They smelled funny and didn't always remember to feed me or give me water. Sometimes, they'd get angry for no reason, and I'd hide, tucking my tail tight. I learned to flinch whenever a hand came near. That gives you an idea of what I endured. I remember mostly the pain. My leg... it hurt so bad. I don't know what happened, just a lot of shouting and then... blinding pain. They didn't take me to anyone, didn't try to make it better. I just laid there, day after day, the pain throbbing, making me tremble. They'd sometimes kick me if I got in the way, even with my broken leg. I was always hungry, and scared. Then, a kind lady came. I was so afraid, I tried to hide, but she had gentle eyes and a soft voice. She looked sad when she saw me, huddled in the corner. She spoke to them, those mean humans. I don't know what she said, but she gave them something, and then... then she picked me up!The nice lady took me to a place that smelled funny, but felt… safe-ish. A doctor looked at my leg and I cried, it hurt so much when they touched it. But they were trying to help. I had to stay there for a while, but the nice lady visited. And now my leg is feeling much better. Now, I'm in a foster home, and it's safe and warm. My foster mom says I'm very sweet. I'm learning to trust people again. I'm ready to find my forever home. My heart is full of love, and I’m just waiting for a forever family who will love me back.I'm still a little shy, but I promise to give you all my love. You'll find me to be both calm and playful rolled into one pup. I'm intelligent and eager to learn and please, so training should come easy. I'm a loyal girl who just wants to relax near you... okay well maybe on your lap, once we are bonded in trust. And though I hold some shyness yet, I can be rather confident. Being friendly, I should be fine with dog savvy kids.I dream of a family who will be patient and gentle, who will cuddle with me and keep me safe. Fully healed.I have been spayed, vaccinated & micro-chipped.My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2313078##
