Story
Archie is a fun gregarious pup that just really wants to make everybody happy! He is a young guy, probably around 1-1/2 years old and a Westie mix of sorts. He is an active pup that would love to go on walks and get out to build some confidence in the world around him. After a short intro and a short time to feel comfortable, Archie is great with other dogs, cats, and loves people! He is working to build confidence and would appreciate a family who can provide consistency, boundaries, and structure to help him feel safe and be his very best boy. Archie would also really enjoy the companionship of another confident but patient k9 companion that can be his wrestling buddy and show him the ropes. Archie is great about resting quietly in his crate when his people are away and is good on leash. He can be insecure at times so a calm and confident handler is ideal. Archie really, really wants to please his people and get lots of love and affection. He has likely been mis-treated in his past so a patient and gentle handler/family is a must. Archie is extra happy when he has little toys to destroy and even a ball to toss around for himself!Archie is working to perfect his house training skills but with continued support should have it mastered in no time. Archie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and health checked. His adoption fee is $200. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org. Thanks!
