Story
Meet Milo🩵 When he was staying at Korean City Shelter, he always had a sad face and stayed in a corner most of time. Due to Milo being scared, when people came toward him, Milo always rushed to the corner to hide himself. Because of that, Adogs rescued Milo before his fear and stress got worsened. Milo is still scared of the world, has a hard time making eye contact and won’t come to volunteers. *Milo is scared of people and has cautious nipping. His nipping is not related to aggression but due to his fear and anxiety.💦 Since there are many dogs staying at Adogs Center it’s hard for Milo to feel relaxed and needs more time.😢 *In spacious area when a person approaches him, Milo runs away to the corner and avoids the human hand. *At this point, Milo is learning “Touch” training with volunteers!🥰 Fighting Milo!💪 *Has no particular interest in other doggy friends at the Center. Will not approach to greet other dogs and stay and lie down in the corner most of time.😂 *Milo is a quiet and calm pup who doesn’t bark at all. **Can nip due to being cautious. Adogs Center workers are constantly trying to bond with him, so he has improved a lot. Looking for a forever family to train on nipping and desensitization.** 💙 Health issues: Heartworm treatment done. (Will be retested in January 2024)

Story
Meet Charlotte! She came to us at just 3 weeks old after someone found her on the sidewalk all by herself. As she got a little older we noticed something was a little off. Her back legs were a little wobbly and she has limited hearing. After an evaluation by our vet we were referred to a neurologist. We quickly ruled out any trauma or infectious diseases. We waited a few months to see if it was something that she may grow out of but that was not the case. It was determined that she has some sort of neurological condition that causes her to have hearing loss and be unsteady on her feet. She also has a curve to her spine. The vet compared it to a drunk walk! We don’t know how it will progress but she is not in any pain and not on any daily medications. Charlotte is now about 7 months old and weighs about 10 lbs. She may stumble around a little but that doesn’t slow her down at all! She runs and plays with the other dogs. She loves her toys! If her food or water bowl is empty she will make sure you know by tossing her bowl around and barking at it! She is working on potty training but gets distracted easily because it’s more fun to follow you around outside. She will definitely be your little shadow! She is just a goofy girl and everyone that meets her loves her! Charlotte is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, and spay. Story
Animal Profile: Yogi is an adorable terrier mix, estimated to be around 7 years old and weighs about 23 lbs (but he is on a weight loss journey to get to his ideal weight of around 20 lbs). He was originally rescued from Texas at the age of ~2, and recently re-joined our rescue when his family could no longer care for him.  Foster Updated: Meet Yogi! This sweet boy quickly captures your heart with his soulful eyes. We kindly ask that you read through his entire bio before applying, as Yogi has some specific needs for his forever home. While 7 is still younger at heart, Yogi is more in his golden years era; looking for a quiet lifestyle to match where he is currently at for mobility and taking in life. Yogi enjoys the companionship of other dogs, even pups larger than him. Yogi isn't overly interested in engaging with other dogs, but he doesn't mind sharing his space with other calm pups. That being said, he also wouldn't mind being the only dog in the home and soaking up all the attention. He bonds hard to his people and gets excited to be around his humans. He also loves sniffing around outside in a yard or garden, though his mobility does keep him at a slower pace. He isn't a hiking companion or someone to join on long walks, but he will hangout by your side on gardening or sunbathing days. We are continuing to work with Yogi to get him a little more confident on leash and in the outside world. He is very anxious, and would thrive in a calm household. Yogi was not previously crate trained, but we are working with him on his crate training in foster care and he is showing improvement.  One of Yogi's challenges have been his mobility, and he doesn't currently use stairs and getting around is limiting for him. This is partly due to his front legs being bowed, something he was born with, and having some joint deterioration. However, a healthy diet, daily joint supplements & pain relief medication have significantly helped Yogi get more comfortable and feeling better. Yogi would thrive in a home where he didn't have to utilize stairs to get around, and does best with carpet or other floor coverings that aren't too slippery. While jumping onto surfaces or hopping up stairs just isn't in his wheelhouse at this time, Yogi loves a cozy dog bed and will gladly curl up by your side. As a more anxious pup, Yogi is looking to join an adult-only household. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $250, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Texas and joined us from Saving Our Strays rescue partner. This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated.January 2, 2025, 4:42 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Give a very warm welcome to Leia! She is an adorable 2-year-old, 10lb West Highland terrier/Dachshund mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Leia loves to be with her person, has a happy confidence to her, and an overall great personality. She walks well on leash and would enjoy being an adventure buddy accompanying her person wherever they go! She can be vocal and will bark at other dogs when they get to close. She would do best in a standalone home outside of the city. Leia has adorable big ears and a short nub tail that makes for the best pick-me-up when you see it wag. She is a dog who will need regular grooming. She is going to make such a great companion for any lucky adopter that ends up bringing her home! Leia is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
